²⁰ though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

¹⁹ He will deliver thee in six troubles; yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. ²⁰ In famine He will redeem thee from death; and in war from the power of the sword. ²¹ Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. ²² At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh; neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. ²³ For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field; and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. ²⁴ And thou shalt know that thy tent is in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt miss nothing.

¹⁸ Behold, the eye of the LORD is toward them that fear Him, toward them that wait for His mercy; ¹⁹ To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

¹⁰ Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

¹⁴ though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.

¹² Sow to yourselves according to righteousness, reap according to mercy, break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and cause righteousness to rain upon you.

³ Seek ye the LORD, all ye humble of the earth, that have executed His ordinance; seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

³⁵ but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is acceptable to him.

²⁹ If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.

⁷ Little children, let no man lead you astray; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:

¹⁰ In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil; whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
