³ And many peoples shall go and say: 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

¹ Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it -

⁸ Good and upright is the LORD; therefore doth He instruct sinners in the way. ⁹ He guideth The humble in justice; and He teacheth the humble His way.

² The rod of Thy strength the LORD will send out of Zion: 'Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.'

⁴ Attend unto Me, O My people, and give ear unto Me, O My nation; for instruction shall go forth from Me, and My right on a sudden for a light of the peoples. ⁵ My favour is near, My salvation is gone forth, and Mine arms shall judge the peoples; the isles shall wait for Me, and on Mine arm shall they trust.

⁶ For there shall be a day, that the watchmen shall call upon the mount Ephraim: arise ye, and let us go up to Zion, unto the LORD our God.'

⁴ In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek the LORD their God. ⁵ They shall inquire concerning Zion with their faces hitherward: 'Come ye, and join yourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.'

²⁰ Thus saith the LORD of hosts: It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities; ²¹ and the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying: Let us go speedily to entreat the favour of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will go also. ²² Yea, many peoples and mighty nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favour of the LORD. ²³ Thus saith the LORD of hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying: We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'

²⁴ Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock;

²⁸ But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

¹⁷ If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.

⁸ But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

³³ Forthwith therefore I sent to thee, and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God, to hear all things that have been commanded thee of God.

⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth. ⁴⁸ And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God; and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

¹⁸ But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.

²⁵ But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, he being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.
