⁵ Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

⁵ That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the godless but for a moment?

¹⁷ How oft is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? that their calamity cometh upon them? that He distributeth pains in His anger?

¹⁹ The way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble.

⁹ The light of the righteous rejoiceth; but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

²⁰ Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in the blackest darkness.

²⁰ For there will be no future to the evil man, the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

¹¹ Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that gird yourselves with firebrands, begone in the flame of your fire, and among the brands that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of My hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
