¹¹ I will teach you concerning the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

⁵ Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the midst of the land whither ye go in to possess it.

³ Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. ⁴ Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

¹⁰ Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would exult in pain, though He spare not; for I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

⁸ But it is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty, that giveth them understanding. ⁹ It is not the great that are wise, nor the aged that discern judgment. ¹⁰ Therefore I say: 'Hearken to me; I also will declare mine opinion.'

¹⁷ O God, Thou hast taught me from my youth; and until now do I declare Thy wondrous works.

¹¹ For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, admonishing me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying:

²⁰ how I shrank not from declaring unto you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly, and from house to house,
