¹⁸ where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

¹⁶ (22:17) For dogs have encompassed me; a company of evil-doers have inclosed me; like a lion, they are at my hands and my feet.

¹² Therefore will I divide him a portion among the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the mighty; because he bared his soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

³⁵ And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots, ³⁶ and they sat and watched him there. ³⁷ And they set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. ³⁸ Then are there crucified with him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left.

⁴⁴ And the robbers also that were crucified with him cast upon him the same reproach.

²⁴ And when they had crucified him, they part his garments among them, casting lots upon them, what each should take. ²⁵ And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. ²⁶ And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS. ²⁷ And with him they crucify two robbers, one on his right hand, and one on his left.

³² And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. ³³ And when they came unto the place which is called The skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left. ³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

³² that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should die.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

² looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
