⁶ The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips; he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and did turn many away from iniquity.

²¹ And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begot Methuselah. ²² And Enoch walked with God after he begot Methuselah three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters. ²³ And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years. ²⁴ And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him.

⁹ These are the generations of Noah. Noah was in his generations a man righteous and whole-hearted; Noah walked with God.

¹ And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him: 'I am God Almighty; walk before Me, and be thou wholehearted.

¹⁰ They shall teach Jacob Thine ordinances, and Israel Thy law; they shall put incense before Thee, and whole burnt-offering upon Thine altar.

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous uttereth wisdom, and his tongue speaketh justice.

²² But if they have stood in My council, then let them cause My people to hear My words, and turn them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

²³ And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. ²⁴ And in a controversy they shall stand to judge; according to Mine ordinances shall they judge it; and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed seasons, and they shall hallow My sabbaths.

³ And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

⁶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.

¹⁶ And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one; for thou regardest not the person of men.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, so as to turn them back from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

⁹ For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God, ¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.

¹⁵ Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth. ¹⁶ But shun profane babblings; for they will proceed further in ungodliness,

⁷ For the bishop must be blameless, as God's steward, not self-willed, not soon angry, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre, ⁸ but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, ⁹ holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.

¹⁹ Brethren, if any among you err from the truth, and one convert him, ²⁰ let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

⁵ And in their mouth was found no lie; for they are without blemish.
