⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear ye him.

¹⁹ And when the voice of the horn waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

³⁴ Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. ³⁵ And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. -

¹¹ And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the heart of heaven, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness. ¹² And the LORD spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire; ye heard the voice of words, but ye saw no form; only a voice.

²² (5:19) These words the LORD spoke unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice, and it went on no more. And He wrote them upon two tables of stone, and gave them unto me.

¹⁵ A prophet will the LORD thy God raise up unto thee, from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

¹⁹ And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him.

¹⁰ And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, ¹¹ so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD. ¹² Then spoke Solomon: The LORD hath said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.

¹ Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

¹⁰ (18:11) And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He did swoop down upon the wings of the wind. ¹¹ (18:12) He made darkness His hiding-place, His pavilion round about Him; darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

⁷ (81:8) Thou didst call in trouble, and I rescued thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder; I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah

¹ Behold My servant, whom I uphold; Mine elect, in whom My soul delighteth; I have put My spirit upon him, he shall make the right to go forth to the nations.

²¹ The LORD was pleased, for His righteousness' sake, to make the teaching great and glorious.

¹⁷ and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

¹⁸ Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased; I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.

¹¹ and a voice came out of the heavens, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁷ And there came a cloud overshadowing them; and there came a voice out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.

²² and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon him, and a voice came out of heaven, Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I am well pleased.

³⁴ And while he said these things, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them; and they feared as they entered into the cloud. ³⁵ And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

³⁵ The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

²⁰ For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth; and greater works than these will he show him, that ye may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will. ²² For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son, ²³ that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.

³⁷ And the Father that sent me, he hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.

²⁸ Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. ²⁹ The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered; others said, An angel hath spoken to him. ³⁰ Jesus answered and said, This voice hath not come for my sake, but for your sakes.

⁹ Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you; abide ye in my love. ¹⁰ If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

⁹ And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

²² Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord our God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you. ²³ And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

³⁷ This is that Moses, who said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord our God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me.

³ And as he journeyed, it came to pass that he drew nigh unto Damascus; and suddenly there shone round about him a light out of heaven: ⁴ and he fell upon the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? ⁵ And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest; ⁶ but rise, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he bestowed favor on us in the Beloved:

¹³ who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,

¹ God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by diverse portions and in diverse manners, hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, ² whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds,

¹ Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things that were heard, lest haply we drift away from them. ² For if the word spoken through angels proved stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, ³ how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard,

⁹ and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation,

²⁵ See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven: ²⁶ whose voice then shook the earth; but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven.

¹⁶ For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. ¹⁷ For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there was borne such a voice to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased:

⁷ Behold, he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
