¹² The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

¹⁹ and because of the greatness that He gave him, all the peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew, and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he raised up, and whom he would he put down.

²⁴ (6:25) And the king commanded, and they brought those men that had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and they had not come to the bottom of the den, when the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces.

⁵ (14:6) I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

⁷ (5:6) And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples, as dew from the LORD, as showers upon the grass, that are not looked for from man, nor awaited at the hands of the sons of men.

⁴ And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. ⁵ But I will warn you whom ye shall fear; Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell, yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
