⁴ So shalt thou find grace and good favour in the sight of God and man.

² And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. ³ And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. ⁴ And Joseph found favour in his sight, and he ministered unto him. And he appointed him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

²¹ But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

⁷ Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses My servant commanded thee; turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest have good success whithersoever thou goest. ⁸ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy ways prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

²⁶ And the child Samuel grew on, and increased in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

¹⁰ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter; His praise endureth for ever.

⁹ And God granted Daniel mercy and compassion in the sight of the chief of the officers.
