⁶ Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is; who keepeth truth for ever;

¹ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

¹¹ for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

⁹ Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God; the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;

⁸ Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth, and issued out of the womb; ⁹ When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, ¹⁰ And prescribed for it My decree, and set bars and doors, ¹¹ And said: 'Thus far shalt thou come, but no further; and here shall thy proud waves be stayed'?

⁶ By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

² (89:3) For I have said: 'For ever is mercy built; in the very heavens Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness.

³³ (89:34) But My mercy will I not break off from him, nor will I be false to My faithfulness.

⁵ The sea is His, and He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

³ He hath remembered His mercy and His faithfulness toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

⁵ For the LORD is good; His mercy endureth for ever; and His faithfulness unto all generations.

¹⁵ Blessed be ye of the LORD who made heaven and earth.

² For His mercy is great toward us; and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Hallelujah.

⁵ To Him that by understanding made the heavens, for His mercy endureth for ever. ⁶ To Him that spread forth the earth above the waters, for His mercy endureth for ever.

⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD; for He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not be transgressed.

²⁸ When He made firm the skies above, when the fountains of the deep showed their might, ²⁹ When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not transgress His commandment, when He appointed the foundations of the earth;

¹¹ Thus shall ye say unto them: 'The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.' ¹² He that hath made the earth by His power, that hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His understanding;

¹⁷ 'Ah Lord GOD! behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and by Thy outstretched arm; there is nothing too hard for Thee;

⁴ And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made confession, and said: 'O Lord, the great and awful God, who keepest covenant and mercy with them that love Thee and keep Thy commandments,

²⁰ Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, as Thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

³ All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that hath been made.

³⁴ Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods?

¹⁵ and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good tidings, that ye should turn from these vain things unto a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that in them is:

¹⁶ for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things have been created through him, and unto him,

² in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before times eternal,

¹⁸ that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:

⁷ and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and the sea and fountains of waters.
