¹ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John,

¹⁴ The counsel of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and His covenant, to make them know it.

²⁸ but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and He hath made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the end of days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these: ²⁹ as for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter; and He that revealeth secrets hath made known to thee what shall come to pass.

¹⁶ And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, who called, and said: 'Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.'

²¹ yea, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, approached close to me about the time of the evening offering.

²³ At the beginning of thy supplications a word went forth, and I am come to declare it; for thou art greatly beloved; therefore look into the word, and understand the vision.

⁷ For the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His counsel unto His servants the prophets.

³² What he hath seen and heard, of that he beareth witness, and no man receiveth his witness.

²⁶ I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you; howbeit he that sent me is true, and the things which I heard from him, these speak I unto the world.

⁴⁹ For I spake not from myself, but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father, I have made known unto you.

⁸ for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them, and they received them, and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

¹² For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

³ how that by revelation was made known unto me the mystery, as I wrote before in few words,

³ Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein; for the time is at hand. ⁴ John to the seven churches that are in Asia; Grace to you and peace from God, the one who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne,

⁹ I John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and kingdom and patience which are in Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

¹⁹ Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which are about to come hereafter,

¹ After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, a voice as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must come to pass hereafter.

² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

⁶ And he saith unto me, These words are faithful and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

¹⁶ I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.
