¹⁷ and if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

²⁴ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

²¹ And his lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things, enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

³² Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

²⁹ and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me, ³⁰ that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁶ Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?

²⁵ He that loveth his life shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. ²⁶ If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be; if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.

²⁴ Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me; for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

²² confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

³² And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, so as to turn them back from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

⁹ Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through him. ¹⁰ For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life,

¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, much more shall they that receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, even Jesus Christ.

³ For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: ³⁰ and whom he foreordained, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

⁹ but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.

²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours, ²³ and ye are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

⁷ knowing that, as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also are ye of the comfort.

⁸ we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened, perplexed, yet not unto despair, ⁹ pursued, yet not forsaken, smitten down, yet not destroyed, ¹⁰ always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh. ¹² So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

²⁹ And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.

⁷ So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

⁶ to wit, that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

²⁹ because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. ¹¹ Faithful is the saying; For if we died with him, we shall also live with him: ¹² if we endure, we shall also reign with him; if we shall deny him, he also will deny us: ¹³ if we are faithless, he abideth faithful, he cannot deny himself. ¹⁴ Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear.

⁷ that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?

¹⁷ Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath,

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

⁴ unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

¹³ but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.

²¹ He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.

⁷ He that overcometh shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
