⁵ And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

¹¹ And he came upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. ¹² And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. ¹³ And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac: the land on which you lie, to you will I give it, and to your descendants; ¹⁴ And your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. ¹⁵ And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you in all places wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to you of.

⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

¹⁹ And he said, Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the latter end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

²¹ Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

⁹ Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, with my face toward the ground. ¹⁰ And, behold, a hand touched me, which made me tremble upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

⁷ And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he struck Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation?

⁵ Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
