⁶ And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth Benejaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead.

⁶ When you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

¹² And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran. ¹³ And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

²³ And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying, ²⁴ Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah. ²⁵ Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor: ²⁶ And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. ²⁷ And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. ²⁸ And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there on the top of the mountain: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

¹ These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron. ² And Moses wrote their starting points of their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their starting points.

³⁰ And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth. ³¹ And they departed from Moseroth, and encamped at Benejaakan. ³² And they set out from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhaggidgad. ³³ And they went from Horhaggidgad, and encamped at Jotbathah.

³⁸ And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
