¹ God, who at many times and in various manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, ² Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; ³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; ⁴ Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. ⁵ For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? ⁶ And again, when he brings the firstbegotten into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him. ⁷ And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. ⁸ But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. ⁹ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. ¹⁰ And, you, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: ¹¹ They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall grow old as does a garment; ¹² And as a mantle shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail. ¹³ But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool? ¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation?

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

³ And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

¹³ And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. ¹⁴ Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it inside and outside with pitch. ¹⁵ And this is the fashion which you shall make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. ¹⁶ A window shall you make for the ark, and within a cubit shall you finish it above; and the door of the ark shall you set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shall you make it. ¹⁷ And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; and everything that is in the earth shall die. ¹⁸ But with you will I establish my covenant; and you shall come into the ark, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons' wives with you. ¹⁹ And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. ²⁰ Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every sort shall come unto you, to keep them alive. ²¹ And take with you of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to you; and it shall be for food for you, and for them. ²² Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

¹⁵ And God spoke unto Noah, saying, ¹⁶ Go forth from the ark, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you. ¹⁷ Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. ¹⁸ And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him: ¹⁹ Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creeps upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.

¹ And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth. ² And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. ³ Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; even as the green plants have I given you all things. ⁴ But flesh with its life, which is its blood, shall you not eat. ⁵ And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. ⁶ Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. ⁷ And you, be you fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. ⁸ And God spoke unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, ⁹ And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; ¹⁰ And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. ¹¹ And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. ¹² And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: ¹³ I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. ¹⁴ And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: ¹⁵ And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. ¹⁷ And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

¹ Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto a land that I will show you: ² And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: ³ And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

² And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell you of: ³ Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for unto you, and unto your descendants, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham your father; ⁴ And I will make your descendants to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto your descendants all these countries; and in your descendants shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; ⁵ Because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

¹² And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. ¹³ And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac: the land on which you lie, to you will I give it, and to your descendants; ¹⁴ And your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. ¹⁵ And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you in all places wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land; for I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken to you of.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. ²⁵ And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. ²⁶ And he said, Let me go, for the day breaks. And he said, I will not let you go, except you bless me. ²⁷ And he said unto him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob. ²⁸ And he said, Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince have you power with God and with men, and have prevailed. ²⁹ And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray you, your name. And he said, Why is it that you do ask my name? And he blessed him there. ³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

² And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I. ³ And he said, I am God, the God of your father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of you a great nation: ⁴ I will go down with you into Egypt; and I will also surely bring you up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon your eyes.

¹ Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the west side of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. ² And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. ³ And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. ⁴ And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. ⁵ And he said, Draw not near here: put off your shoes from your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground. ⁶ Moreover he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. ⁷ And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; ⁸ And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good and large land, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. ⁹ Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. ¹⁰ Come now therefore, and I will send you unto Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. ¹¹ And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? ¹² And he said, Certainly I will be with you; and this shall be a token unto you, that I have sent you: When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God upon this mountain. ¹³ And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? ¹⁴ And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you. ¹⁵ And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. ¹⁶ Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: ¹⁷ And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. ¹⁸ And they shall hearken to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and you shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us: and now let us go, we beseech you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. ¹⁹ And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. ²⁰ And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst of it: and after that he will let you go. ²¹ And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when you go, you shall not go empty: ²² But every woman shall request of her neighbor, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing: and you shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and you shall spoil the Egyptians.

⁶ And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. ⁷ My servant Moses is not thus, who is faithful in all my house. ⁸ With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even clearly, and not in dark sayings; and the form of the LORD shall he behold: why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

²⁸ And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

⁵⁵ As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his descendants forever.

⁷² To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

⁴⁴ And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

²² Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and you on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

²⁹ We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from where he is.

³⁰ Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of his descendants, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

³² And we declare unto you glad tidings, how the promise which was made unto the fathers,

²³ And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

² For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;

¹⁰ Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: ¹¹ Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when he testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. ¹² Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

²⁰ Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of one’s own interpretation. ²¹ For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

¹ And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

¹⁴ And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.

³⁰ When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God, and shall be obedient unto his voice;

¹⁵ The LORD your God will raise up unto you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him you shall hearken;

²⁹ For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.

⁶ Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. ⁷ I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. ⁸ Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. ⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

²² The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. ²³ I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth was. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: ²⁶ While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the first of the dust of the world. ²⁷ When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he drew a circle upon the face of the depth: ²⁸ When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: ²⁹ When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his command: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: ³⁰ Then I was by him, like a master workman: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; ³¹ Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

² And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

⁶ For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

²⁴ Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself;

¹² I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

¹⁸ For thus says the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days, and the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. ¹¹ He shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

²⁴ The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has done it, and until he has performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it.

⁴⁷ Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, says the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

¹⁶ And you shall come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes.

²⁸ But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, are these;

¹⁴ Now I have come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for the vision is for many days yet to come.

⁵ Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

¹ But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

¹⁷ And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁵ While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear you him.

³⁸ But when the tenants saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize his inheritance.

⁶³ But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the Christ, the Son of God.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

⁶ Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will respect my son.

³ All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

²⁵ Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.

³ Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and went to God;

¹⁵ From now on I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

¹⁵ All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

² As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.

¹⁷ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

³⁶ The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

⁴ And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, so that we may be also glorified together.

⁶ But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

²⁵ For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. ²⁷ For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is clear that he is excepted, who did put all things under him.

⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

¹⁰ That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

²⁰ Which he performed in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come: ²² And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, ²³ Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.

⁹ And to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

⁹ Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁶ For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: ¹⁷ And he is before all things, and by him all things are held together. ¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

⁵ For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

⁸ But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

³ How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

⁸ You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. ⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

⁸ Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

³ Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest continually.

²⁶ For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the age has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

³ Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

²⁰ Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

³ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

¹⁸ How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

¹¹ Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

²² Fair weather comes out of the north: with God is awesome majesty.

³ The earth and all inhabitants are dissolved: I hold up the pillars of it. Selah.

¹ [A Psalm of David.] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

⁴ Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What are you doing?

⁴ And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

²⁴ Saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up children unto his brother.

¹⁹ So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

⁴² And David himself said in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit on my right hand, ⁴³ Till I make your enemies your footstool.

⁴ In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.

⁹ Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long a time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

³³ Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured forth this, which you now see and hear.

⁵⁶ And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

³⁴ Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

⁴ In whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

⁶ For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. ⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

²⁰ Which he performed in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come: ²² And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

¹⁵ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation: ¹⁶ For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: ¹⁷ And he is before all things, and by him all things are held together.

¹ If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

¹⁴ Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

²⁷ Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

¹ Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

¹² Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: ¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

¹⁶ For where a will is, there must also of necessity be the death of the maker.

¹² But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

² Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

²¹ Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

²² Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

¹⁶ For we have not followed cunningly devised myths, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁵ And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

²⁵ To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.

²¹ To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne.

¹¹ You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.

⁷ I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you. ⁸ Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come:

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

¹⁰ And you are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power:

⁷ And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

⁹ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

¹¹ And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

¹⁴ I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

¹³ I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before you:

¹⁰ He shall build a house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.

⁶ And he said unto me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

⁷ I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.

²⁶ He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. ²⁷ Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

³³ God has fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you.

⁵ So also Christ glorified not himself to be made a high priest; but he that said unto him, You are my Son, today have I begotten you.

⁴³ Rejoice, O you nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

⁷ Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods.

²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

⁹ And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were much afraid. ¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. ¹² And this shall be a sign unto you; You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. ¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

¹⁸ No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

¹⁵ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation:

⁵ Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you desired not, but a body have you prepared me:

⁹ In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loves us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ And have made us unto our God a kingdom and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

¹¹ And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and separated them both; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

¹⁷ And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray you, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

⁴ Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

² Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.

¹³ As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: they went back and forth among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. ¹⁴ And the living creatures ran back and forth like the appearance of a flash of lightning.

¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

⁵ And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation?

³⁷ Only unto the land of the children of Ammon you came not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbade us.

¹⁴ You shall be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

³ The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me, He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter. ⁷ You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

¹ [A Psalm of Solomon.] Give the king your judgments, O God, and your righteousness unto the king's son. ² He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. ³ The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. ⁴ He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

⁷ In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.

¹¹ Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. ¹² For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper. ¹³ He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. ¹⁴ He shall redeem their souls from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

⁴ The king's strength also loves justice; you do establish equity, you execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.

¹³ Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

¹ Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice. ² And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a refuge from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

²¹ Tell and bring forth your case; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no other God besides me; a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me. ²² Look unto me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

²⁵ In the LORD shall all the descendants of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the earth. ⁶ In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name by which he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

¹⁵ Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto you, will you not surely put me to death? and if I give you counsel, will you not hearken unto me?

⁷ But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

⁹ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tested: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, They are my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

¹ Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, says the LORD of hosts.

²³ Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

¹⁶ And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

³⁰ I and my Father are one.

³³ The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God.

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

⁵ Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

²⁵ For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet.

¹⁶ And without doubt great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹³ Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; ¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own, zealous of good works.

³ For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who has built the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God.

¹¹ For so an entrance shall be provided unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

⁶ Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

⁵ The LORD tests the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence his soul hates.

⁵ You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

⁵ He loves righteousness and justice: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

²⁸ For the LORD loves justice, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved forever: but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

⁸ I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.

⁷ You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

²⁰ I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

²⁶ He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

¹⁰⁴ Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

¹²⁸ Therefore I esteem all your precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

¹³ The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.

¹ The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

³ To provide for them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

⁸ For I the LORD love justice, I hate robbery with a burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

¹⁵ Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

¹⁷ And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, says the LORD.

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

⁴¹ He first found his own brother Simon, and said unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

³⁴ For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him.

¹⁷ Jesus said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

²⁷ For of a truth against your holy child Jesus, whom you have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

³⁸ How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

⁹ Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

⁹ God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

³¹ The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forevermore, knows that I lie not.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

⁹ Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

¹¹ For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

²⁶ For such a high priest was befitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

³ That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

⁶ But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. ⁷ He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

¹⁵ So have you also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

¹ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

¹⁹ And lest you lift up your eyes unto heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has apportioned unto all nations under the whole heaven.

³ When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained; ⁴ What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?

¹ [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.

²⁵ Of old have you laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but you shall endure: yea, all of them shall grow old like a garment; as a vesture shall you change them, and they shall be changed: ²⁷ But you are the same, and your years shall have no end.

²⁹ When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his command: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

⁵ Thus says God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk in it:

¹³ My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

¹³ And forget the LORD your maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; you have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

⁸ But now, O LORD, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.

¹⁷ Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:

¹ The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel, says the LORD, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² The same was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

¹⁴ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

¹⁶ The LORD is King forever and ever: the nations are perished out of his land.

¹⁰ The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sits as King forever.

² Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

⁴ And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falls off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

⁴ Who has performed and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

⁶ Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

⁹ Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall grow old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and they that dwell in it shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

⁸ For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

¹⁷ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

³¹ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

²⁷ And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which now are, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. ⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

¹¹ Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: ¹⁸ I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hades and of death.

⁸ And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things says the first and the last, who was dead, and is alive;

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

¹⁴ And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.

⁴ For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

⁵⁸ Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

⁸ Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

²⁴ And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war who went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all your enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

¹⁸ His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

³ I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. ⁴ For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come. ⁵ And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. ⁶ And I will tread down the people in my anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

⁴⁴ The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool?

³⁶ For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.

²⁷ But those my enemies, who would not that I should reign over them, bring here, and slay them before me.

⁴² And David himself said in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit on my right hand,

³⁴ For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit on my right hand, ³⁵ Until I make your foes your footstool. ³⁶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

⁵⁵ But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

²⁵ For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

¹² But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; ¹³ From then on waiting till his enemies be made his footstool.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. ¹³ And he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in midheaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; ¹⁸ That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

¹⁵ And when the morning arose, then the angels rushed Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, who are here; lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city. ¹⁶ And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him outside the city.

¹ And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. ² And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

¹⁹ And he said, Hear you therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

⁶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

¹¹ For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. ¹² They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

²⁰ Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. ²¹ Bless you the LORD, all you his hosts; you ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

² Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly. ³ And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

²⁸ Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

²² My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: because before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no wrong.

²¹ Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. ²² And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and understanding. ²³ At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I have come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

¹¹ And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto you, and stand upright: for unto you am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. ¹² Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.

²⁰ But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

¹³ And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and remain there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

⁴¹ The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

⁴⁹ So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, ⁵⁰ And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

¹⁰ Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

³⁴ Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

¹⁹ And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stands in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto you, and to show you these glad tidings.

²³ And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his service were accomplished, he departed to his own house.

⁹ And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were much afraid.

¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

²² And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

¹⁹ But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

³ He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. ⁴ And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God.

²² Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

⁷ And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he struck Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

²³ And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and died.

² As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

²³ For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

⁶ For, for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

²⁷ It has pleased them greatly; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in material things.

¹² For the administration of this service not only supplies the need of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

⁷ Know you therefore that they who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

⁹ So then they who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

²⁹ And if you are Christ's, then are you Abraham's descendants, and heirs according to the promise.

⁶ That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

¹⁷ Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

²⁵ Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

⁷ That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

⁹ And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

¹² That you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

¹⁷ So God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

⁶ But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

¹¹ And every priest stands daily ministering and offering frequently the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him?

⁴ To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,

¹² Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

⁷ Likewise, you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

¹⁴ And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,

⁶ And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
