¹³ As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

⁶ If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

¹ Comfort you, comfort you my people, says your God.

³ For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
