⁶⁴ But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who would betray him.

² You know my downsitting and my uprising, you understand my thought afar off. ³ You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. ⁴ For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, you know it altogether.

²⁴ But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, ²⁵ And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

⁴² But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you.

³⁶ But I said unto you, That you also have seen me, and believe not.

⁶¹ When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Does this offend you?

⁶⁶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? ⁷¹ He spoke of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that would betray him, being one of the twelve.

²³ And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.

³⁸ I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your father. ³⁹ They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham. ⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. ⁴¹ You do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We are not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. ⁴² Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. ⁴³ Why do you not understand my speech? even because you cannot hear my word. ⁴⁴ You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. ⁴⁵ And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not. ⁴⁶ Which of you convicts me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me? ⁴⁷ He that is of God hears God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.

⁵⁵ Yet you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

²⁶ But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

¹⁰ Jesus said to him, He that is washed needs not except to wash his feet, but is clean completely: and you are clean, but not all. ¹¹ For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, You are not all clean.

¹⁸ I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me. ¹⁹ Now I tell you before it comes, that, when it has come to pass, you may believe that I am he. ²⁰ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me. ²¹ When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

¹⁸ Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

¹³ Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
