⁸ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give.

¹⁵ And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray you, take a blessing from your servant. ¹⁶ But he said, As the LORD lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

²⁰ But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving from his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD lives, I will run after him, and take something from him. ²¹ So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well? ²² And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Behold, even now there has come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray you, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments. ²³ And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bore them before him. ²⁴ And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and put them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed. ²⁵ But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, From where come you, Gehazi? And he said, Your servant went nowhere. ²⁶ And he said unto him, Went not my heart with you, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? ²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cling unto you, and unto your descendants forever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

¹ And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

¹⁸ They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

⁹ And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come near unto you.

⁶ Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

⁹ If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the crippled man, by what means he is made whole; ¹⁰ Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.

³⁰ By stretching forth your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of your holy child Jesus.

¹² And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders done among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. ¹³ And of the rest dared no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. ¹⁴ And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) ¹⁵ So that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and pallets, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

¹⁸ And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, ¹⁹ Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit. ²⁰ But Peter said unto him, Your money perish with you, because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. ²¹ You have neither part nor lot in this matter: for your heart is not right in the sight of God. ²² Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. ²³ For I perceive that you are in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

³³ I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. ³⁴ Yea, you yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. ³⁵ I have showed you all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
