⁴ The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

¹¹ The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke. ¹² He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through the storm. ¹³ By his spirit he has adorned the heavens; his hand has pierced the fleeing serpent. ¹⁴ Lo, these are only parts of his ways: and how little a whisper is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

⁹ Have you an arm like God? or can you thunder with a voice like him? ¹⁰ Deck yourself now with majesty and splendor; and array yourself with glory and beauty. ¹¹ Put forth the rage of your wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. ¹² Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

⁹ For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

³³ To him that rides upon the heaven of heavens, which were of old; lo, he does send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

⁶ A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to his enemies.

¹⁵ He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heaven by his understanding. ¹⁶ When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth: he makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his storehouses.

⁵ And the sound of the cherubim’s wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaks.

³⁶ And they were all amazed, and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.

²⁵ And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him.
