⁵ And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

⁸ As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah.

⁴ And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the watercourses. ⁵ One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write on his hand, The LORD’S, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. ² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. ³ And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. ⁴ Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. ⁵ Then you shall see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you. ⁶ The multitude of camels shall cover your land, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD. ⁷ All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. ⁸ Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? ⁹ Surely the coastlands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

³⁵ It was all around eighteen thousand cubits by measure: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

¹⁸ And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it.

¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: ¹³ Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

³ Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ⁴ Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? ⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

³¹ What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

²⁶ For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

³² And what shall I say more? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthah; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

²² But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, ²³ To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, who are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, ²⁴ And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. ²⁴ For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away:
