² I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

⁷ And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you, and to your descendants after you.

¹⁷ You have declared the LORD this day to be your God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice: ¹⁸ And the LORD has declared you this day to be his peculiar people, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments; ¹⁹ And to make you high above all nations which he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people unto the LORD your God, as he has spoken.

³⁰ How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had given them up? ³¹ For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

²⁷ The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them. ²⁸ Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of grain and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. ²⁹ Happy are you, O Israel: who is like unto you, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! and your enemies shall submit unto you; and you shall tread upon their high places.

⁶ You have shamed the counsel of the poor, but the LORD is his refuge.

² The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

⁴ Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise you, O God my God.

¹⁴ For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

⁵ My soul, wait you only upon God; for my expectation is from him. ⁶ He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. ⁷ In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. ⁸ Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. ⁶ Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. ⁷ God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

³ Be my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.

⁹ Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation;

⁵ I cried unto you, O LORD: I said, you are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

¹⁰ The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.

² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.

³ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. ⁴ Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD GOD is everlasting strength:

¹ At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

³⁸ For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

¹⁶ But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city.
