¹ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of coastlands be glad. ² Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and justice are the habitation of his throne. ³ A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about. ⁴ His lightnings light up the world: the earth saw, and trembled. ⁵ The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. ⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. ⁷ Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods. ⁸ Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD. ⁹ For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods. ¹⁰ You that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. ¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. ¹² Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

⁵ By these were the coastlands of the nations divided in their lands; everyone after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

¹¹ Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

¹ The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, with which he has girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

¹⁰ Say among the nations that the LORD reigns: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. ¹¹ Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof.

⁴ Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. ⁵ Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. ⁶ With trumpets and the sound of a horn make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

¹ The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: he sits between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

¹¹ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, who shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.

¹⁴ They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea. ¹⁵ Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea. ¹⁶ From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

⁵ The coastlands saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.

⁴ He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has established justice in the earth: and the coastlands shall wait for his law.

¹⁰ Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the ends of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is in it; the coastlands, and its inhabitants. ¹¹ Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar does inhabit: let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. ¹² Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the coastlands.

¹ Listen, O coastlands, unto me; and hearken, you people, from afar; The LORD has called me from the womb; from the body of my mother has he made mention of my name.

¹³ Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

⁵ My righteousness is near; my salvation has gone forth, and my arms shall judge the people; the coastlands shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.

⁹ Surely the coastlands shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

¹⁹ And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those of them that escape unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the coastlands afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

²¹ And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mountains of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

¹¹ The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the coasts of the nations.

³ For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, {} The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

¹⁰ Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

¹⁰ Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that came in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

¹³ Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

¹⁷ Saying, We give you thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who is, and was, and is to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned.

²⁵ That be far from you to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

⁹ And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

²¹ And the people stood far off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

¹⁶ And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. ¹⁷ And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. ¹⁸ And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and got him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

¹¹ And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. ¹² And the LORD spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no form; only you heard a voice.

¹⁰ And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, ¹¹ So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD. ¹² Then spoke Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

¹¹ He made darkness his secret place; his canopy round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. ¹² At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, with hailstones and coals of fire.

⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter. ⁷ You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

¹⁹ Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.

¹⁴ Righteousness and justice are the habitation of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.

⁴ The king's strength also loves justice; you do establish equity, you execute justice and righteousness in Jacob.

¹² It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

³ The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

⁸ But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom. ⁹ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

¹¹ And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

³⁶ Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and upon earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.

⁴ The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

²³ And it came to pass, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that you came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; ²⁴ And you said, Behold, the LORD our God has showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.

²² For a fire is kindled in my anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with its increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

⁸ There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all your enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

³ Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

¹⁰ A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

⁵ The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell in it. ⁶ Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

⁵ Before him went the pestilence, and burning fever went forth at his feet.

¹ For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

⁸ In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

⁵ And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

¹⁶ And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud; so that all the people that were in the camp trembled. ¹⁷ And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the lower part of the mount. ¹⁸ And mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

⁶ Who shakes the earth out of its place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

¹⁸ The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lighted up the world: the earth trembled and shook.

⁹ O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

³² He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.

⁷ Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

⁵ Bow your heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. ⁶ Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out your arrows, and destroy them.

¹⁰ But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to endure his indignation.

⁵⁰ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up his spirit. ⁵¹ And, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks were split;

² And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. ³ His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow:

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.

¹¹ Behold, the ark of the covenant of the LORD of all the earth passes over before you into the Jordan.

⁴ LORD, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water. ⁵ The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.

⁶ The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

² For the LORD most high is awesome; he is a great King over all the earth.

¹⁸ That men may know that you, whose name alone is the LORD, are the most high over all the earth.

¹⁹ The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is torn asunder, the earth is shaken exceedingly. ²⁰ The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a hut; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

⁵ For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

¹ Oh that you would rend the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might flow down at your presence. ² As when the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!

³ For, behold, the LORD comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. ⁴ And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be split, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

¹³ Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their wealth unto the Lord of the whole earth.

⁵ The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell in it.

⁶ He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

¹⁴ Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

³ And if any man say unto you, Why do you this? say that the Lord has need of him; and immediately he will send him here.

² Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

²¹ But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

⁴⁷ The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be God, the rock of my salvation.

⁴ O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for you shall judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

² For I have said, Mercy shall be built up forever: your faithfulness shall you establish in the very heavens.

⁵ And the heavens shall praise your wonders, O LORD: your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

³ He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

² Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

³ And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

⁵ And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

⁶ That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. ³ And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

¹⁸ For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

⁹ After this manner therefore pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name.

² For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great harlot, who did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

⁴ You shall not make unto yourself any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

²⁰ And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall face one another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

¹ You shall make no idols nor graven images, neither raise you up a standing image, neither shall you set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

⁸ You shall not make you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

¹⁵ Cursed be the man that makes any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

¹³ The wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and they faced inward.

¹⁸ Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries. ¹⁹ And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

²⁹ Behold, they are all worthless; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.

¹⁷ They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, you are our gods.

⁹ They that make a graven image are all of them nothing; and their precious things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. ¹⁰ Who fashions a god, or molds a graven image, that is profitable for nothing? ¹¹ Behold, all his fellows shall be put to shame: and the workmen, they are mere men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be put to shame together.

¹⁴ Every man is senseless in his knowledge: every goldsmith is put to shame by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

⁶ And again, when he brings the firstbegotten into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.

¹² Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

¹¹ And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. ¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that lives forever and ever.

⁸ And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. ⁹ And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, ¹⁰ The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

¹¹ Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments.

⁶ The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

¹⁰ The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

³ For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

⁷ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns! ⁸ Your watchmen shall lift up their voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. ⁹ Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem. ¹⁰ The LORD has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

¹¹ Behold, the LORD has proclaimed unto the ends of the earth, Say you to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

¹⁴ Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. ¹⁵ The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out your enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in your midst: you shall not see harm any more. ¹⁶ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not: and to Zion, Let not your hands be weak. ¹⁷ The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey.

⁴ All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, ⁵ Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon a donkey, and a colt the foal of a donkey. ⁶ And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, ⁷ And brought the donkey, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they sat him thereon. ⁸ And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and spread them in the way. ⁹ And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her.

¹ And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God: ² For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great harlot, who did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. ³ And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up forever and ever. ⁴ And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. ⁵ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, and you that fear him, both small and great. ⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. ⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.

¹¹ Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing in which they dealt proudly he was above them.

³ For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

⁴ For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

³ But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatsoever he has pleased. ⁴ Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. ⁵ They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: ⁶ They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: ⁷ They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. ⁸ They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusts in them.

⁵ For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

⁸ But they are altogether senseless and foolish: the wooden idol is a doctrine of vanities.

²¹ Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come:

⁹ Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

²³ O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD preserves the faithful, and plentifully repays the proud doer.

¹⁴ Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

⁴ He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he abhors not evil.

²⁷ Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore. ²⁸ For the LORD loves justice, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved forever: but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

³⁹ But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. ⁴⁰ And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

¹⁴ Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

³ I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

¹⁰⁴ Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

¹⁶³ I hate and abhor lying: but your law do I love.

³ For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

²⁰ The LORD preserves all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

⁸ He keeps the paths of justice, and preserves the way of his saints.

⁷ Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

¹³ The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.

¹⁷ But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

²¹ And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.

²⁸ Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

²² My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: because before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no wrong.

²⁷ He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

¹⁵ Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

²⁸ And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. ²⁹ Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. ³⁰ And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

¹⁵ For that which I do I know not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

²⁴ O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

⁹ Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

³ But if any man loves God, the same is known by him.

⁸ And then shall that Wicked One be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: ⁹ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ And with all deception of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: ¹² That they all might be condemned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

² And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

¹² Blessed is the man that endures trial: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.

⁵ Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him?

⁵ Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

⁸ Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

¹⁹ We love him, because he first loved us.

² By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.

¹⁸ We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

¹⁶ The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honor.

²⁸ You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established for you: and the light shall shine upon your ways.

²⁸ For you will light my lamp: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

⁴ Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

⁵ They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. ⁶ He that goes forth weeping, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

¹⁸ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. ² For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.

¹ For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until its righteousness goes forth as brightness, and its salvation as a lamp that burns.

⁹ I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause, and executes justice for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

⁴⁶ I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.

⁸ For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

⁷ Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain. ⁸ Be also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near. ⁹ Murmur not one against another, brethren, lest you be judged: behold, the judge stands before the door. ¹⁰ Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. ¹¹ Behold, we count them happy who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate, and of tender mercy.

²³ And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God is its light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

⁵ And there shall be no night there; and they need no lamp, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.

⁴ Sing unto the LORD, O you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

¹¹ Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.

⁶ God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

¹² Are you not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, you have ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, you have established them for correction. ¹³ You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and can not look on iniquity: why do you look upon them that deal treacherously, and hold your tongue when the wicked devours the man that is more righteous than he?

¹⁷ Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be on the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

¹⁰ For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
