²³ And he that doubts is condemned if he eats, because he eats not of faith: for whatever is not of faith is sin.

² Whosoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves judgment.

⁵ One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

⁷ But there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience about the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

²⁹ For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. ³⁰ For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. ³¹ For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

¹⁵ Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
