⁷ For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.

⁹ For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

¹⁹ What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own? ²⁰ For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

¹⁵ And that he died for all, that they who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who died for them, and rose again.

¹⁹ For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. ²⁰ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

²⁰ According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. ²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ²² But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not. ²³ For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: ²⁴ Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

¹⁰ Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own, zealous of good works.

² That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
