¹⁰ According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.

²⁴ Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

³⁵ Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.

⁸ And he said, Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go you not therefore after them.

²⁷ And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brothers wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

⁵ By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

³ For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

¹⁵ Nevertheless, brothers, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

²⁰ Yes, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

⁵ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, just as the Lord gave to every man? ⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

¹¹ For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

² If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are you in the Lord.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. ¹¹ Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so you believed. ¹² Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

¹⁵ Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labors; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,

¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

²⁰ And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

² If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me toward you: ³ That by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote before in few words, ⁴ Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) ⁵ Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; ⁶ That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: ⁷ Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effective working of his power. ⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

²⁹ Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

¹⁷ And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.

¹¹ According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. ¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; ¹³ Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. ¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁶ Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.

¹⁵ Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

¹ My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

¹¹ If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹ But there were false prophets also among the people, just as there shall be false teachers among you, who secretly shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. ² And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. ³ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁹ And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
