⁵ And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

⁴¹ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss.

⁴⁷ Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

²⁹ The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.

³¹ And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

⁴⁶ Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me?

³⁰ Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me.

²⁴ Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: ²⁵ Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; ²⁶ To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus.

²¹ For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; ²⁶ That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷ That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

¹⁵ This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

¹⁶ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

³ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

¹⁵ For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

²⁶ For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²⁸ So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

²⁰ Who truthfully was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

²⁴ Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

¹⁸ For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but given life by the Spirit:

² (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

¹ My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

⁹ In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ¹⁰ Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. ¹² No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. ¹³ Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
