² As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:

³ And said, Truthfully I say unto you, Unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁵ Truthfully I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter in it.

⁴ Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

¹ And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, just as unto babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk, and not with food: for until now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

²⁰ Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be you children, but in understanding be men.

²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple in the Lord:

¹⁵ But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, brothers, as it is suitable, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other abounds;

¹² For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and have become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food. ¹³ For every one that uses milk is unskillfully in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
