⁶ Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

¹⁵ Who, when they had come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: ¹⁶ (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) ¹⁷ Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

² As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

²³ And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

²⁶ And from there sailed to Antioch, from from where they ha been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

⁴⁰ And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brothers unto the grace of God.

¹⁵ And how shall they preach, unless they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

¹⁴ Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

²² Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure.

⁶ Therefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God, which is in you by the putting on of my hands.

² And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁶ Which have borne witness of your love before the church: whom if you bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, you shall do well:

⁸ We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellow helpers to the truth.
