⁹ And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

²⁹ And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: ⁸ For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. ⁹ Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? ¹¹ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

²² And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

³¹ Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus says unto them, Truthfully I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, Whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.

³⁷ And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

²⁴ Strive to enter in at the tight gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. ²⁵ When once the master of the house is risen up, and has shut to the door, and you begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not, nor from where you are:

⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael, and says unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. ⁴⁶ And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip says unto him, Come and see. ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and says of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! ⁴⁸ Nathanael says unto him, >From where know you me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. ⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and says unto him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said unto her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.

¹³ And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

⁷ If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.

¹⁶ You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

²³ And in that day you shall ask me nothing. Truthfully, truthfully, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. ²⁴ Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

⁴ And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and your alms are come up for a memorial before God. ⁵ And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: ⁶ He lodges with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the seaside: he shall tell you what you should do.

⁷ To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:

² (For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

⁸ For this thing I asked the Lord three times, that it might depart from me. ⁹ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

¹⁶ Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

²² And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: ¹⁵ And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

²⁴ But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
