³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him secretly,

¹⁰ And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speak you unto them in parables?

³⁶ Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

¹ And after six days Jesus takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into a high mountain apart,

¹ And when they drew close unto Jerusalem, and had come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

¹⁶ Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. ¹⁷ And Jesus said unto them, Come you after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. ¹⁸ And immediately they gave up their nets, and followed him. ¹⁹ And when he had gone a little farther from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.

³⁴ But without a parable spoke he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

³⁷ And he permitted no man to follow him, except Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

² And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter, and James, and John, and leads them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

³⁵ And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that you should do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

³³ And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

⁴⁰ One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. ⁴¹ He first finds his own brother Simon, and says unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
