²⁷ No man can enter into a strong man's house, and plunder his goods, unless he will first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.

¹⁷ And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through your name. ¹⁸ And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ²⁰ Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

²¹ When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace: ²² But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he takes from him all his armour in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. ²³ He that is not with me is against me: and he that scatters not with me scatters.

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

¹⁰ Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ¹³ Therefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

¹⁵ And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

¹⁴ Since the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

⁸ He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

⁴ You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

⁷ And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, ⁸ And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹ And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. ² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
