¹ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. ² And Jesus said unto them, See you not all these things? Truthfully I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. ³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? ⁴ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. ⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. ⁶ And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in different places. ⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows. ⁹ Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. ¹⁰ And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. ¹¹ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. ¹² And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold. ¹³ But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. ¹⁵ When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:) ¹⁶ Then let those who be in Judaea flee into the mountains: ¹⁷ Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: ¹⁸ Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes. ¹⁹ And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! ²⁰ But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: ²¹ For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. ²² And unless those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. ²³ Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. ²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. ²⁵ Behold, I have told you before. ²⁶ Therefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. ²⁷ For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. ²⁸ For wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. ²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: ³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. ³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. ³² Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is close: ³³ So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. ³⁴ Truthfully I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. ³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. ³⁶ But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. ³⁷ But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. ³⁸ For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, ³⁹ And did not know until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. ⁴⁰ Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ⁴¹ Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ⁴² Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come. ⁴³ But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have permitted his house to be broken up. ⁴⁴ Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes. ⁴⁵ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? ⁴⁶ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing. ⁴⁷ Truthfully I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. ⁴⁸ But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; ⁴⁹ And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; ⁵⁰ The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looks not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, ⁵¹ And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

²³ And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority are you doing these things? and who gave you this authority?

³⁹ For I say unto you, You shall not see me henceforth, till you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

⁵ And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with good stones and gifts, he said, ⁶ As for these things which you behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. ⁷ And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? ⁸ And he said, Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go you not therefore after them. ⁹ But when you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. ¹⁰ Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: ¹¹ And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. ¹² But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. ¹³ And it shall turn to you for a testimony. ¹⁴ Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to think ahead before making your defense: ¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor resist. ¹⁶ And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brothers, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. ¹⁷ And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. ¹⁸ But there shall not a hair of your head perish. ¹⁹ In your patience possess you your souls. ²⁰ And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation of it is close. ²¹ Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter in itto. ²² For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. ²³ But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. ²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. ²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; ²⁶ Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. ²⁷ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. ²⁸ And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws close. ²⁹ And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; ³⁰ When they now shoot forth, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now close at hand. ³¹ So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass, know you that the kingdom of God is close at hand. ³² Truthfully I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. ³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. ³⁴ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. ³⁵ For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. ³⁶ Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

²⁰ Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days?

⁴⁴ And shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you knew not the time of your visitation.

¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness,

¹⁰ And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speak you unto them in parables? ¹¹ He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

³⁶ Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

³⁹ The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. ⁴⁰ As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

⁴⁹ So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

¹⁹ Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

¹ And when they drew close unto Jerusalem, and had come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

⁷ And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

²¹ Peter seeing him says to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? ²² Jesus says unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you? follow you me.

⁷ And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

¹ But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write unto you. ² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. ³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. ⁴ But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. ⁵ You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. ⁶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. ⁷ For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. ⁸ But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. ⁹ For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁰ Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. ¹¹ Therefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, just as also you do.

²⁶ For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

¹⁴ That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

⁶ Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

⁸ Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

¹⁸ Let no man beguile you of your reward in a false humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

¹ But there were false prophets also among the people, just as there shall be false teachers among you, who secretly shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. ² And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. ³ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

¹ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

¹¹ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

⁴³ I am come in my Father's name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.

³⁶ For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. ³⁷ After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away many people after him: he also perished; and all, just as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

⁹ But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: ¹⁰ To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

¹⁸ Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

⁵⁴ But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

⁷ And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: for such things must be; but the end shall not be yet. ⁸ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in different places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

¹ Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

²⁴ Saying, Fear not, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God has given you all them that sail with you. ²⁵ Therefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be just as it was told me. ²⁶ Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

² That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

¹⁴ But and if you suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; ¹⁵ But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

¹¹ And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; ²⁶ Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

¹⁹ And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:

²⁸ And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

²⁷ And this word, yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

⁸ And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. ²⁰ Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

² They shall put you out of the synagogues: yes, the time comes, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God service.

² Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. ³ And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now evening.

⁴⁰ And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. ⁴¹ And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

¹ Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. ² And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. ³ And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) ⁴ And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after passover to bring him forth to the people. ⁵ Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

³¹ And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. ³² Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.

¹⁹ And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on you: ²⁰ And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the clothing of them that slew him. ²¹ And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send you far hence unto the Gentiles. ²² And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.

²² But we desire to hear of you what you think: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.

¹⁴ For you, brothers, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, just as they have of the Jews: ¹⁵ Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: ¹⁶ Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

¹⁶ yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

¹⁰ Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.

¹³ I know your works, and where you dwell, even where Satan's seat is: and you hold fast my name, and have not denied my faith, even in those days in which Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: ¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? ¹¹ And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brothers, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

²¹ And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

³⁵ For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. ³⁶ And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

⁶ And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

²¹ yet has he not root in himself, but lasts for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, by and by he is offended.

⁵⁷ And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.

²¹ And as they did eat, he said, Truthfully I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. ²² And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? ²³ And he answered and said, He that dips his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. ²⁴ The Son of man goes as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

³¹ Then says Jesus unto them, All you shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
³² But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. ³³ Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of you, yet will I never be offended. ³⁴ Jesus said unto him, Truthfully I say unto you, That this night, before the cock crow, you shall deny me three times.

¹⁷ And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

¹² Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

¹⁶ And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brothers, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

⁶⁰ Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it? ⁶¹ When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Does this offend you?

⁶⁶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. ⁶⁷ Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will you also go away?

¹⁵ This you know, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

¹⁰ For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

¹⁶ At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

³⁰ Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

¹ Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

¹ But there were false prophets also among the people, just as there shall be false teachers among you, who secretly shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

²⁶ These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

⁴ For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

¹ From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? ² You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. ³ You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. ⁴ You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

¹ Go to now, you rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. ² Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten. ³ Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days. ⁴ Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of those who have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. ⁵ You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. ⁶ You have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.

⁴ Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. ⁵ Remember therefore from whence you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, unless you repent.

¹⁵ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you wert cold or hot.

²² And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved.

⁶ And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

¹³ And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

¹⁵ But that on the good ground are they, which in a honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

⁷ To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:

⁸ Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁶ But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

³⁹ But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

³⁵ And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

⁷ And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¹⁹ Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven.

³ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned.

¹ And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.

⁵ And the devil, taking him up into a high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

⁴⁷ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

² Until the day in which he was taken up, after he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

⁶ And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brothers unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come to here also;

²⁵ And now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

¹⁸ But I say, Have they not heard? yes truthfully, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ¹⁹ Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. ²⁰ Yes, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation: ²¹ But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

²⁵ Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, ²⁶ But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

⁶ Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

²³ If you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

¹⁰ Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

⁶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

¹⁴ But when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it should not, (let him that read understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

⁴³ For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall cast a trench about you, and compass you round, and keep you in on every side,

²⁰ And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation of it is close.

⁴⁸ If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

¹³ And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceases not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

²⁸ Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teaches all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and has polluted this holy place.

¹ Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

³ Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it: for the time is at hand.

²² He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

²¹ Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let those who are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter in itto. ²² For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

⁷ By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than clothing?

²⁷ What I tell you in darkness, that speak you in light: and what you hear in the ear, that preach you upon the housetops.

¹⁵ And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter in it, to take any thing out of his house: ¹⁶ And let him that is in the field not turn back again to take up his garment.

¹⁹ And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

³ Therefore whatsoever you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

³¹ In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. ³² Remember Lot's wife. ³³ Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

⁹ On the next day, as they went on their journey, and drew close unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

¹⁷ But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! ¹⁸ And pray you that your flight be not in the winter.

²³ But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

²⁹ For, behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the paps which never gave suck. ³⁰ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

¹² Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

⁹ But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues you shall be beaten: and you shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

⁴³ For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall cast a trench about you, and compass you round, and keep you in on every side, ⁴⁴ And shall lay you even with the ground, and your children within you; and they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you knew not the time of your visitation.

²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

¹⁶ Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He that looked down upon Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: ²⁹ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

¹⁴ For many are called, but few are chosen.

³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

²⁰ And unless that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days.

⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

¹¹ (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calls;)

²⁵ For I would not, brothers, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. ²⁶ And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: ²⁷ For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. ²⁸ As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. ²⁹ For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. ³⁰ For as you in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: ³¹ Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

²¹ And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

²³ And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. ²⁴ For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

³⁷ All that the Father gives me shall come to me; and him that comes to me I will in no way cast out.

³⁹ And this is the Father's will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

²⁸ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰ I and my Father are one.

¹⁶ For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ²⁹ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. ³⁰ Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. ³¹ What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? ³² He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. ³⁴ Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. ³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁸ If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men.

¹⁵ Where is then the blessedness you spoke of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

⁹ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

¹⁹ Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

⁵ Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁷ You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.

¹⁸ We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brothers is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. ¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

⁷ And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. ⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

¹³ And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, ¹⁴ And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

¹³ And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

¹ These things have I spoken unto you, that you should not be offended.

¹ In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, ² Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. ³ And he came into all the country around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

³⁸ Are not you that Egyptian, which before these days made an uproar, and led out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

²⁰ And Jesus says unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.

²⁸ Truthfully I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

²⁴ For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. ²⁵ But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. ²⁶ And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. ²⁷ They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. ²⁸ Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; ²⁹ But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. ³⁰ Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. ³¹ In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. ³² Remember Lot's wife. ³³ Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. ³⁴ I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. ³⁵ Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ³⁶ Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ³⁷ And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, to there will the eagles be gathered together.

⁸ Be you also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws close.

⁴ And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

³⁷ And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, to there will the eagles be gathered together.

⁸ All these are the beginning of sorrows.

²¹ For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

²⁴ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, ²⁵ And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

¹⁹ And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: ²⁰ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up.

¹² And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ¹³ And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, just as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. ¹⁴ And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. ¹⁵ And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

¹² And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. ²⁸ Truthfully I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

⁶⁴ Jesus says unto him, You have said it: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

⁴ Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

²⁶ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

⁶² And Jesus said, I am: and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. ⁶³ Then the high priest tore his clothes, and says, What need we any further witnesses? ⁶⁴ You have heard the blasphemy: what think you? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

²⁷ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

⁶⁹ Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

¹¹ Which also said, You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.

⁷ And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

⁷ Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

⁴¹ The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity;

²² And unless those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

²⁷ And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

⁵² And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

¹⁹ Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: ²⁰ But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the borders of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works suitable for repentance.

⁵² In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

¹⁰ That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

¹⁶ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

¹ Now we beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

¹ And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the the sea, nor on any tree.

² And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

⁶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, ⁷ Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. ⁸ And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. ⁹ And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

²⁸ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: ²⁹ So you in like manner, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that it is close, even at the doors.

²⁹ And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; ³⁰ When they now shoot forth, you see and know of your own selves that summer is now close at hand.

³⁷ For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

⁹ Grudge not one against another, brothers, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.

⁷ But the end of all things is at hand: be you therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

⁴⁵ Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

³⁶ Truthfully I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

³⁰ Truthfully I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. ³¹ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

⁵⁰ That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

³² Truthfully I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. ³³ Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

¹⁸ For truthfully I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one small mark shall in no way pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

² In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

¹¹ They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment; ¹² And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.

²⁵ But the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

⁷ But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. ⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. ⁹ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up. ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

¹⁴ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

¹⁴ And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

⁴² Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come.

⁴⁴ Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.

¹³ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of man comes.

³² But of that day and that hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

³ Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.

¹⁵ Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

²⁶ And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. ²⁷ They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

²⁰ Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, in which few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. ²¹ The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

⁵ And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

⁶ Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

³⁰ For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

¹⁹ And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

⁴⁵ But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

¹⁸ And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray you have me excused. ¹⁹ And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray you have me excused. ²⁰ And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

²⁶ And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. ²⁷ They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. ²⁸ Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

³⁴ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

¹³ Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in lewdness and wantonness, not in strife and envying. ¹⁴ But put you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts of it.

²⁹ But this I say, brothers, the time is short: it remains, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; ³⁰ And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; ³¹ And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passes away.

¹³ Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. ¹⁴ And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive:
¹⁵ For this people's heart is grown gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

²⁰ For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

⁴¹ Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no way believe, though a man declare it unto you.

²⁸ And just as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

⁵ For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

³⁹ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If you be Christ, save yourself and us. ⁴⁰ But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Do not you fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? ⁴¹ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss. ⁴² And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ⁴³ And Jesus said unto him, Truthfully I say unto you, Today shall you be with me in paradise.

⁷ For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not received it?

⁷ And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conduct of the wicked: ⁸ (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) ⁹ The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

³⁵ Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

³⁶ But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

³⁸ Then says he unto them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death: tarry you here, and watch with me. ³⁹ And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will. ⁴⁰ And he comes unto the disciples, and finds them asleep, and says unto Peter, What, could you not watch with me one hour? ⁴¹ Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

³⁵ Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; ³⁶ And you yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks, they may open unto him immediately. ³⁷ Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching: truthfully I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to food, and will come forth and serve them. ³⁸ And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. ³⁹ And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have permitted his house to be broken through. ⁴⁰ Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not.

³⁶ Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

¹¹ And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

¹³ Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

⁶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

² Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God. ³ Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.

¹¹ And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

³⁹ And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have permitted his house to be broken through.

² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. ³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. ⁴ But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. ⁵ You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. ⁶ Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up. ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness,

¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

⁴⁰ Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not.

⁵ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

⁷ Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready.

²⁴ Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

⁵² Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.

² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

²¹ His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.

²³ His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.

³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me food: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: ³⁶ Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came unto me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink? ³⁸ When did we see you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you? ³⁹ Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came unto you? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answer and say unto them, Truthfully I say unto you, Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it unto me.

⁴¹ Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speak you this parable unto us, or even to all? ⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? ⁴³ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. ¹¹ If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? ¹² And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

¹⁷ And he said unto him, Well, you good servant: because you have been faithful in a very little, have you authority over ten cities.

¹⁵ So when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these? He says unto him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my lambs. ¹⁶ He says to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me? He says unto him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁷ He says unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Do you love me? And he said unto him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus says unto him, Feed my sheep.

²⁸ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.

¹ And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, just as unto babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk, and not with food: for until now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

¹¹ And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; ¹² For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ¹³ Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

² And the things that you have heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit you to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁵ And Moses truthfully was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

¹⁰ As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ¹¹ If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹ The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ² Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight of it, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; ³ Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

³⁴ Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

³⁷ Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching: truthfully I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to food, and will come forth and serve them.

⁴³ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

²¹ For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. ²² But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not. ²³ For I am in a tight place between the two, having a desire to depart, an to be with Christ; which is far better:

⁶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. ⁷ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: ⁸ Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

¹³ Yes, I think it suitable, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; ¹⁴ Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, just as our Lord Jesus Christ has showed me. ¹⁵ Moreover I will endeavor that you may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

¹⁹ I know your works, and love, and service, and faith, and your patience, and your works; and the last to be more than the first.

⁴⁴ Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he has.

²⁹ And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father has appointed unto me; ³⁰ That you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁶ If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.

¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.

²¹ To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, just as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

⁷ He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

³² Then his lord, after he had called him, said unto him, O you wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me to:

²⁶ His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I have not scattered:

²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

²² And he says unto him, Out of your own mouth will I judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

² And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

²² Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

³ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, ⁴ And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. ⁵ For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

¹⁸ For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

²⁰ For you suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

¹⁹ Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

¹¹ Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. ¹² One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

³ Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

¹³ And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; ¹⁴ Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: a heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

⁹ I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not. ¹⁰ Therefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brothers, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church.

¹² These are spots in your feasts of love, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

⁷ And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

⁶ For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

⁴² Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come. ⁴³ But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have permitted his house to be broken up. ⁴⁴ Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.

² For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. ³ For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

¹² But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

¹³ Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

³⁰ And cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

⁴⁶ The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

²⁸ There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
