⁸ Give thanks to Yahweh; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations!

⁴³ you shall hear in heaven, the place of your dwelling, and act according to all that the foreigner calls to you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you as your people Israel, and to know that your name has been invoked over this house that I have built.

¹⁹ So then, O Yahweh our God, rescue us, please, from his hand, that all of the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, O Yahweh, you alone are God!"

⁸ Give thanks to Yahweh; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations! ⁹ Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of his wondrous works! ¹⁰ Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those seeking Yahweh rejoice! ¹¹ Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his face continually! ¹² Remember his wonderful works that he has done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth, ¹³ O offspring of Israel, his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! ¹⁴ He is Yahweh our God; his judgments are in all the earth. ¹⁵ Remember his covenant forever, the word he commanded for a thousand generations, ¹⁶ that he _⌊made_⌋* with Abraham, his sworn oath to Isaac. ¹⁷ And he confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, an everlasting covenant to Israel, ¹⁸ saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance." ¹⁹ When you were few in number, little, and sojourners were in it, ²⁰ when they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people, ²¹ he did not allow anyone to oppress them, and he rebuked kings on their account, ²² saying, "You must not touch my anointed nor do harm to my prophets!"

³⁴ Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; his loyal love is everlasting.

² that your way may be known on the earth, your salvation among all nations. ³ Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all of the peoples praise you. ⁴ Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, because you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations on the earth. Selah

³ that we have heard and known, and our ancestors* have told us. ⁴ We will not hide them from their children,* telling the next generation the praises of Yahweh, and his power and his wonders that he has done. ⁵ For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law* in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors* to teach to their children, ⁶ so that the next generation might know— children yet to be born— that they might rise up and tell their children,

Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. ⁴ Make supplication to Yahweh and his might; seek his face continually. ⁵ Remember his wonders that he has done, his signs and the judgments of his mouth, ⁶ O offspring of Abraham his servant, you descendants* of Jacob, his chosen ones. ⁷ He is Yahweh our God; his judgments are in all the earth. ⁸ He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations, ⁹ that he made with Abraham, and by his oath swore to Isaac. ¹⁰ He then confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, ¹¹ saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the allotment that is your* inheritance." ¹² When they were _⌊few in number_⌋*— a trifle—and were sojourners in it, ¹³ and they wandered about _⌊among the nations_⌋,* from one kingdom to another people, ¹⁴ he allowed no one to oppress them, and he rebuked kings on account of them, ¹⁵ "Do not touch my anointed ones, nor harm my prophets."

⁵ On the splendor of the glory of your majesty, and on your wonderful deeds, I will meditate. ⁶ And they will speak of the power of your awesome deeds,* and I will tell of your greatness.*

⁴ And you will say on that day,
"Give thanks to Yahweh; call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples; bring to remembrance that his name is exalted.

¹⁴ and here he has authority from the chief priests to tie up* all who call upon your name!"

² to the church of God sanctified in Christ Jesus that is in Corinth,* called to be saints, together with all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, their Lord* and ours.
