¹² And Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to me on the mountain, and be there, and I will give you the tablets of stone and the law and the commandments that I have written to instruct them."

¹⁸ And when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave to Moses the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with the finger of God.

¹ And Yahweh said to Moses, "Cut for yourself two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

¹⁹ And I will give to them one heart, and a new spirit I will give* in their inner parts. And I will remove their* heart of stone from their body, and I will give to them a heart of flesh,

²⁵ And I will sprinkle on you pure water, and you will be clean from all of your uncleanness, and I will cleanse you from all of your idols. ²⁶ And I will give a new heart to you, and a new spirit I will give* into your inner parts, and I will remove the* heart of stone from your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will give* my spirit into your inner parts, and I will make it so that you will go* in my rules, and my regulations you will remember, and you will do them.

²⁶ _⌊I make a decree_⌋* that in all the dominion of my kingdom people will be trembling and fearing before the God of Daniel, for he is the living God and endures _⌊forever_⌋* and his* kingdom is one that will not be destroyed and his _⌊dominion has no end_⌋.*

¹⁶ And Simon Peter answered and* said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!"

⁵ For even if after all there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many gods and many lords, ⁶ yet to us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we are for him, and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we are through him. ⁷ But this knowledge is not in everyone. But some, being accustomed until now to the idol, eat this food as food sacrificed to idols, and their conscience, because it* is weak, is defiled. ⁸ But food does not bring us close to God. For neither if we eat do we have more, nor if we do not eat do we lack.* ⁹ But watch out lest somehow this right of yours becomes a cause for stumbling to the weak. ¹⁰ For if someone should see you who has knowledge reclining for a meal in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, because it* is weak, be strengthened so that he eats the food sacrificed to idols?

¹⁶ And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,
"I will live in* them and will walk about among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people."*

⁹ For they themselves report about us, what sort of welcome we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will decree with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I am putting my laws in their minds and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be _⌊their_⌋* God and they will be _⌊my_⌋* people.

¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?
