¹⁴ in whom we have the redemption, the forgiveness of sins,

Happy is he whose transgression is taken away, whose sin is covered. ² Happy is a person to whom Yahweh does not impute iniquity and in whose spirit there is not deceit.

⁴ But with you is forgiveness, so that you may be feared."

²⁸ just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

²⁰ And when he* saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."

⁴⁷ _⌊For this reason_⌋* I tell you, her sins—which were many—have been forgiven, for she loved much. ⁴³ To this one all the prophets testify, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins."

³⁸ "Therefore let it be known to you, men and brothers, that through this one forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and from all the things from which you were not able to be justified by the law of Moses, ³⁹ by this one everyone who believes is justified!

²⁸ Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock among which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God which he obtained through the blood of his own Son.*

²⁴ being justified as a gift by his grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God made publicly available as the mercy seat* through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness, because of the passing over of previously committed sins,

⁶ just as David also speaks about the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: ⁷ "Blessed are they whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins are covered over. ⁸ Blessed is the person against whom the Lord will never count sin."*

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by* becoming a curse for us, because it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"*

⁷ in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,

³² Become* kind toward one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ has forgiven you.

² and live in love, just as also Christ loved us, and gave himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant smell.*

¹³ And _⌊although you were dead_⌋** in the trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

¹³ putting up with one another and forgiving one another. If anyone should have a complaint against anyone, just as also the Lord forgave you, thus also you do the same.

⁶ who gave himself a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, in order that he might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good deeds.

¹² and not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once for all into the most holy place, obtaining eternal redemption.

²² Indeed, nearly everything is purified with blood according to the law, and apart from the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

¹² But this one, after he* had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, ¹³ from now on waiting until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. ¹⁴ For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb ²⁰ who was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has been revealed in these last times for you

¹⁸ For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, in order that he could bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, so that he will forgive us our* sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

² and he* is the propitiation* for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

¹² I am writing to you, little children, because* your sins have been forgiven you on account of his name.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood

⁹ And they were singing a new song, saying,
"You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and bought people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation,

⁴ These are those who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were bought from humanity as first fruits to God and to the Lamb,
