All of the mighty warriors _⌊fit for war_⌋* the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon. ¹⁷ Then the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his uncle king in his place and changed his name to Zedekiah.

¹³ And he also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. He stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

² And though they say, '_⌊As Yahweh lives_⌋,'* _⌊therefore_⌋* they swear falsely."

¹ And king Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, whom Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, had made king, reigned as king in the land of Judah in place of Coniah, the son of Jehoiakim.
