⁸ Now go, write it on a tablet with them, and inscribe it on a scroll, _⌊that_⌋* it may be _⌊for the time to come_⌋,* forever, forever.

² "Take for yourself _⌊a scroll_⌋* and you must write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day that I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, and until this day. ³ Perhaps when the house of Judah hears all the disasters* that I am planning to do to them, then they may turn back each one from his evil way, and I will forgive their guilt and their sin." ⁴ Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of Yahweh that he had spoken to him on _⌊a scroll_⌋.*

²⁷ And the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah after the king burned the scroll and the words that Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah, _⌊saying_⌋,* ²⁸ "_⌊Take again_⌋* for yourself another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll which Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, has burned. ²⁹ And concerning Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, you shall say, 'Thus says Yahweh, "You have burned this scroll, _⌊saying_⌋,* 'Why have you written in it, _⌊saying_⌋,* "The king of Babylon will certainly come and he will destroy this land, and he will cause to disappear from it humankind and animals"?'"* ³⁰ _⌊Therefore_⌋* thus says Yahweh concerning Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, "There will not be for him one who sits on the throne of David. And his dead body will be thrown out to the heat in the day and to the frost in the night. ³¹ And I will punish him, and his offspring, and his servants for their guilt, and I will bring on them, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on the people of Judah all the disaster with which I have threatened them, but they would not listen." '" ³² Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the son of Neriah, the secretary, and he wrote on it from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, had burned in the fire, and furthermore was added to them many words like these.

⁴ But you, Daniel, keep the words secret and seal the scroll* until the time of the end; many will run back and forth and knowledge will increase."

²⁸ And when she* had said this, she went and called her sister Mary privately, saying, "The Teacher is here and is calling for you." ²⁹ So that one, when she heard it,* got up quickly and went to him.

¹⁹ but in the church I prefer to speak five words with my mind, in order that I may instruct other people, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

¹² Therefore, because we* have such a hope, we use much boldness,

¹⁸ and the one who lives, and I was dead, and behold, I am living _⌊forever and ever_⌋*, and I hold the keys of death and of Hades. ¹⁹ Therefore, write the things which you saw, and the things which are, and the things which are about to take place after these things.

'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'"
"Yes," says the Spirit, "in order that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow after them."

⁹ And he said to me, "Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the banquet of the wedding celebration of the Lamb!" And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

⁵ And the one seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new!" And he said, "Write, because these words are faithful and true." ⁶ And he said to me, "It is done! I am* the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water from the spring of the water of life freely.* ⁷ The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be _⌊his God_⌋* and he will be _⌊my son_⌋*. ⁸ But as for the cowards and unbelievers and detestable persons and murderers and sexually immoral people and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their share is in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.
