She despises you, she scorns you, the virgin daughter of Zion. Behind you the daughter of Jerusalem shakes her head.

²⁷ You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.

¹⁵ He will call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue and honor him.

² And he sent Eliakim, who was _⌊in charge of_⌋* the palace,* and Shebna the secretary, and the elders of the priests _⌊covered_⌋* with sackcloth to Isaiah son of Amoz, the prophet.

³ and he said, "O Yahweh, please remember how* I have walked before your _⌊presence_⌋* in faithfulness with a whole heart, and I have done the good in your eyes!" And Hezekiah wept with great weeping. ⁴ Then* the word of Yahweh came* to Isaiah, saying, ⁵ "Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says Yahweh, the God of David your ancestor:* "I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. _⌊Look, I am going to_⌋* add fifteen years to your days. ⁶ And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city." '

⁹ Then you shall call, and Yahweh himself will answer. You shall cry for help, and he will say, 'Here I am!' If you remove from among you the yoke, the _⌊finger-pointing_⌋* and _⌊evil speech_⌋,*

²⁴ And this will happen: before they call, I myself will answer; while still they are speaking, I myself will hear.

²⁰ Now I was still speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh my God, on behalf _⌊of the holy mountain of my God_⌋.* ²¹ And I was still speaking in prayer, and the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision _⌊previously_⌋,* _⌊in my weariness touched me_⌋* at the time of the evening offering. ²² And he instructed me and he spoke with me and he said, "Daniel I have now come out* to teach you understanding. ²³ At the beginning of your pleas for mercy, a word went out, and now I have come to declare* it, for you are highly esteemed, and so consider the word and understand the vision.

³¹ And when* they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak* the word* of God with boldness.
