²⁰ Now Martha, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet him, but Mary was sitting in the house.

¹ "Then the kingdom of heaven may be compared to ten virgins who took their lamps and* went out to meet the bridegroom.

⁶ But in the middle of the night there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'

³⁸ Now as they traveled along, he entered into a certain village. Then tell her that she should help me!" ⁴¹ But the Lord answered and* said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things! ⁴² But few things are necessary, or only one thing,* for Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her."
