² and unleavened bread and unleavened, ring-shaped bread cakes mixed with oil, and wafers of unleavened breads smeared with oil. You will make them with finely milled wheat flour,

⁴ " 'But if you bring a grain offering of something oven-baked, it must be of finely milled flour as ring-shaped unleavened bread mixed with oil or wafers of unleavened bread smeared with oil. ⁵ If your offering is a grain offering baked on a* flat baking pan, it must be finely milled flour, unleavened bread mixed with oil; ⁶ break it into pieces and pour out oil on it; it is a grain offering. ⁷ " 'If* your offering is a grain offering prepared in a cooking pan, it must be with finely milled flour in oil. ⁸ And you shall bring the grain offering that is made from these things to Yahweh, and the offerer* shall bring it to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar.

¹⁴ " 'And this is the regulation of the grain offering. Aaron's sons shall present it _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh _⌊in front of_⌋* the altar, ¹⁵ and he* in his fist shall take away from it _⌊some of_⌋* the grain offering's finely milled flour, and _⌊some of_⌋* its oil and all of the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he shall turn into smoke its token portion on the altar as an appeasing fragrance to Yahweh. ¹⁶ And Aaron and his sons must eat the remainder of it; they must eat it as unleavened bread in a holy place—in the tent of assembly's courtyard they must eat it. ¹⁷ It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their share from my offerings made by fire. It is _⌊a most holy thing_⌋,* like the sin offering and like the guilt offering. ¹⁸ Every male among Aaron's sons may eat it as a lasting rule among your generations from the offerings made by fire _⌊belonging to_⌋* Yahweh. Anything that* touches them will become holy.'"

²⁰ "This is the offering of Aaron and his sons that they shall present to Yahweh on the day of his being anointed: a tenth of an* ephah of finely milled flour as a perpetual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening. ²¹ It must be made* in* oil on a flat baking pan; you* must bring it well-mixed; you must present pieces of a grain offering's baked goods* as an appeasing fragrance to Yahweh. ²² And the anointed priest taking his place from among his sons must do it. As a lasting rule, it must be turned into smoke totally for Yahweh. ²³ And every grain offering of a priest must be a whole burnt offering; it must not be eaten."

¹⁰ And every grain offering, whether mixed with oil or dry, shall be for all of Aaron's sons _⌊equally_⌋.* ¹¹ " 'And this is the regulation of the fellowship offerings that he must present to Yahweh: ¹² If he presents it for thanksgiving, in addition to the thanksgiving sacrifice he shall present ring-shaped unleavened bread mixed with oil and unleavened bread wafers smeared with oil and well-mixed ring-shaped bread cakes of finely milled flour mixed with oil.

¹⁷ Then* he presented the grain offering, and he filled his palm _⌊with some of_⌋* it, and he turned it into smoke on the altar besides the morning's burnt offering.

¹³ His offering was one plate of silver—its weight was one hundred and thirty shekels—and one silver bowl weighing seventy shekels according to the sanctuary shekel, _⌊both of them_⌋* filled with finely milled flour mixed with oil as a grain offering;

¹⁹ He presented as his offering one silver plate—its weight one hundred and thirty shekels—and one silver bowl for drinking wine weighing seventy shekels* according to the sanctuary shekel, _⌊both of them_⌋* filled with finely milled flour mixed with oil as a grain offering.

⁴ And the one who presents an offering* for Yahweh, he will present a grain offering of finely milled flour; a tenth will be mixed with a fourth of the liquid measure of oil; ⁵ and you will add a fourth of wine for the libation upon the burnt offering, or to the sacrifice for each ram-lamb. ⁶ Or for the ram you will make a grain offering of two-tenths of finely milled flour mixed into a third of a liquid measure of oil. ⁷ You will present a third of the liquid measure of wine for the libation, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh. ⁸ When you prepare _⌊a bull_⌋* as a burnt offering or a sacrifice to fulfill a vow or a fellowship offering for Yahweh, ⁹ you will present with _⌊the bull_⌋* a grain offering of three-tenths of finely milled flour mixed with half a liquid measure of oil, ¹⁰ and you will present half a liquid measure of wine as a libation, as an offering made by fire, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh. ¹¹ " 'This is how it should be done for each bull, or for the each ram, or for the small four-footed mammal, or ram-lambs, or goats. ¹² According to the number that you prepare, so should you do to each according to their number. ¹³ Every native must do these things to present an offering made by fire, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh. ¹⁴ If an alien dwells among you, or whoever is in your midst throughout your generations,* and prepares an offering made by fire, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh, he should do as you do. ¹⁵ For the assembly, there will be one decree for you and for the alien who dwells among you; it is an eternal decree for all your generations. _⌊You as well as the alien_⌋* will be _⌊before Yahweh_⌋.* ¹⁶ There will be one law and one stipulation for you and for the alien dwelling among you.'" ¹⁷ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, ¹⁸ "Speak to the _⌊Israelites_⌋* and say to them, 'When you come into the land to which I am about to bring you, ¹⁹ whenever you eat from the food of the land, you will lift up a contribution to Yahweh. ²⁰ You must lift up a contribution of the first batch of your ring-shaped dough bread; you must lift it up as a contribution of the threshing floor. ²¹ You will give to Yahweh a contribution from the first of your dough throughout your generations.*

²⁰ and bring all your countrymen* from all the nations as an offering to Yahweh on horses and chariots* and in litters and on mules and camels, to* _⌊my holy mountain_⌋,* Jerusalem," says Yahweh, "just as the sons of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of Yahweh.

⁹ The offering and libation are withheld from the house* of Yahweh. The priests mourn, the ministers of Yahweh.

¹⁴ Who knows whether he will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, an offering and a libation, for Yahweh your God?

¹¹ From the rising of the sun to its setting, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is being presented to my name, and a pure offering. For my name is great among the nations," says Yahweh of hosts.

⁹ according to the custom of the priesthood he was chosen by lot to enter into the temple of the Lord to burn incense. ¹⁰ And the whole crowd of the people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering.

³⁵ Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in me will never be thirsty again.

²⁰ And you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.

²⁷ And as for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not have need that anyone teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you reside* in him.

²⁰ But you, dear friends, by* building yourselves up in your most holy faith, by* praying in the Holy Spirit,

³ And another angel who had a golden censer came and stood at the altar, and a large amount of incense was given to him, in order that he could offer the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar that is before the throne.

¹⁶ And you will take the atonement money from the _⌊Israelites_⌋* and give it to the service of the tent of assembly, and it will be as a memorial for the _⌊Israelites_⌋* before Yahweh to make atonement for your lives."

⁹ And the priest shall take away from the grain offering its token portion, and he shall turn it into smoke on the altar as an offering made by fire, as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh.

¹⁶ The* priest shall turn into smoke its token portion from its coarsely crushed grain together with all of its frankincense—it is an offering made by fire for Yahweh.'"

¹² He shall bring* it to the priest, and the priest _⌊shall take a handful of it_⌋* for its token portion, and he shall turn it to smoke on the altar _⌊in addition to_⌋* the offerings made by fire to Yahweh; it is a sin offering.

¹⁵ and he* in his fist shall take away from it _⌊some of_⌋* the grain offering's finely milled flour, and _⌊some of_⌋* its oil and all of the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he shall turn into smoke its token portion on the altar as an appeasing fragrance to Yahweh.

⁷ And you shall put pure frankincense on each* row so that* it shall be for the bread as a memorial offering, an offering made by fire for Yahweh.

¹⁸ And the priest will present the woman _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh, and he will uncover the head of the woman; he will then put in her hands the grain offering of the remembering—which is the grain offering of jealousy—and in the hand of the priest will be the waters of bitterness that brings a curse.

¹⁴ Remember me, my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my loyal acts which I have done in the house of my God and in his service.

²² And then I told two Levites that they must purify themselves and come to guard the gates in order to consecrate the day of the Sabbath. Remember this also, my God, and take pity on me according to the greatness of your loyal love.

³ The one who slaughters a bull strikes a man; the one who slaughters a lamb for sacrifice breaks the neck of a dog. The one who offers an offering, the blood of swine; the one who offers frankincense blesses an idol. Indeed, they themselves have chosen their ways, and their soul delights in their abhorrence.

⁴ And he stared at him and became terrified and* said, "What is it, Lord?" And he said to him, "Your prayers and your charitable deeds have gone up for a memorial offering before God.

³⁷ Seven days you will make atonement for the altar, and you will consecrate it, and the altar will be _⌊a most holy thing_⌋.* _⌊Anyone who_⌋* touches the altar will be holy.

¹⁰ And the remainder of the grain offering _⌊belongs to_⌋* Aaron and to his sons—_⌊it is a most holy thing_⌋* from the offerings made by fire for* Yahweh.

¹⁶ And Aaron and his sons must eat the remainder of it; they must eat it as unleavened bread in a holy place—in the tent of assembly's courtyard they must eat it. ¹⁷ It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their share from my offerings made by fire. It is _⌊a most holy thing_⌋,* like the sin offering and like the guilt offering.

²⁶ The priest _⌊who offers the sin offering_⌋* must eat it in a holy place—in the tent of assembly's courtyard.

⁹ And every grain offering that is baked in the oven and all that is prepared in a* cooking pan or* on a flat baking pan _⌊belongs to_⌋* the priest who presented it.

¹² Then* Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "As for the remaining parts,* take the remainder of the grain offering from Yahweh's offerings made by fire and eat it, the unleavened bread, beside the altar, because it is _⌊a most holy thing_⌋.* ¹³ And you shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your allotted portion and the allotted portion of your sons from Yahweh's offerings made by fire, for so I have been commanded.

²² He may eat his God's food, from _⌊the most holy things_⌋* and from the holy things.

⁹ This will be for you from the sanctuary of the holy things from the fire; all of their offerings, from every grain offering, from every sin offering, and from every guilt offering which they will bring to me is _⌊a most holy thing_⌋* for you and your sons.

²⁸ And I chose him from all the tribes of Israel to be a priest to me, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, and to bear an ephod before me. I gave to the house of your ancestor* all the offerings made by fire by the _⌊Israelites_⌋.*

⁸ And they will eat the meat on this night; they will eat it fire-roasted and with unleavened bread on _⌊bitter herbs_⌋.*

³¹ And the house of Israel called its name "manna." And it was like coriander seed, white, and its taste was like a wafer with honey.

¹¹ He* must slaughter it on the north side of the altar _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh; then* Aaron's sons, the priests, will sprinkle its blood all around the altar.

¹⁷ It must not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their share from my offerings made by fire. It is _⌊a most holy thing_⌋,* like the sin offering and like the guilt offering.

¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted _⌊within me_⌋.*

¹ Look! here is my servant; I hold him, my chosen one, in whom my soul delights. I have _⌊put_⌋* my spirit on him; he will bring justice forth to the nations.

³ For I will pour out water on a thirsty land and streams on dry ground. I will pour my spirit out on your descendants* and my blessing on your offspring. ⁴ And they shall sprout _⌊among_⌋* the grass like willows by a watercourse of water. ⁵ This one will say, 'I belong to Yahweh!' And that one will be called by the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand 'Yahweh's' and _⌊take the name_⌋* of Israel."

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is upon me, because Yahweh has anointed me, he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up _⌊the brokenhearted_⌋,* to _⌊proclaim_⌋* release to the captives and liberation to those who are bound,

²⁰ And he said to me, "This is the place where the priests will boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, and where they shall bake the grain offering in order not to bring them out to the outer courtyard to make the people holy.

³⁸ Then he said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me."

³⁴ For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God, for he does not give the Spirit by measure.

²⁷ "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, deliver me from this hour'? But for this reason I have come to this hour!

⁷ Clean out the old leaven in order that you may be a new batch of dough, just as you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has been sacrificed. ⁸ So then, let us celebrate the feast, not with the old leaven or with the leaven of wickedness and sinfulness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

²⁶ For a high priest such as this indeed is fitting for us, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and having become exalted above the heavens,

¹ Therefore, ridding yourselves of all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,

²² who did not commit sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth,*

²¹ It must be made* in* oil on a flat baking pan; you* must bring it well-mixed; you must present pieces of a grain offering's baked goods* as an appeasing fragrance to Yahweh.

⁶ Then* he must remove the skin of the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.

My God, my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you far from helping me, far from the words of my groaning? ² O my God, I call by day and you do not answer, and by night but I have no rest.* ³ Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. ⁴ Our ancestors* trusted you; they trusted and you delivered them. ⁵ They cried to you and were saved; they trusted you and were not ashamed. ⁶ But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by humankind and despised by people. ⁷ All who see me mock me. They open wide their lips; they shake the head, saying: ⁸ "_⌊He trusts Yahweh_⌋.* Let him rescue him. Let him deliver him because he delights in him." ⁹ Yet you took me from the belly; you made me trust while on my mother's breasts. ¹⁰ On you I was cast from the womb. From my mother's belly you have been my God. ¹¹ Do not be far from me because trouble is near; because there is no helper. ¹² Many bulls have encircled me; mighty bulls of Bashan have surrounded me. ¹³ They open their mouth against me like a lion tearing and roaring. ¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted _⌊within me_⌋.* ¹⁵ My strength is dry like a potsherd, and my tongue is sticking to my jaws; and you have placed me in the dust of death. ¹⁶ Because dogs have surrounded me; a gang of evildoers has encircled me. Like the lion* they are at my hands and my feet. ¹⁷ I can count all my bones; they gaze, they look at me. ¹⁸ They divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.* ¹⁹ But you, O Yahweh, do not remain distant. O my help, hasten to help me. ²⁰ Rescue my life from the sword, my only life from the power of the dogs.* ²¹ Save me from the mouth of the lion, and from the horns of the wild oxen answer me.

¹ Now after two days it was the Passover and the feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how, after* arresting him by stealth, they could kill him.* ² For they said, "Not at the feast, lest there be an uproar by the people." ³ And while* he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as* he was reclining for a meal, a woman came holding an alabaster flask of very costly perfumed oil of genuine nard. After* breaking the alabaster flask, she poured it* out on his head. ⁴ But some were expressing indignation to one another:* "Why has there been this waste of perfumed oil? ⁵ For this perfumed oil could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor!" And they began to scold* her. ⁶ But Jesus said, "Leave her alone. Why do you cause trouble for her? She has done a good deed to me. ⁷ For the poor you always have with you, and you can do good for them whenever you want, but you do not always have me. ⁸ She has done what she could; _⌊she has anointed my body beforehand_⌋* for burial. ⁹ And truly I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her. ¹⁰ And Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. ¹¹ And when* they heard this,* they were delighted, and promised to give him money. Follow him, ¹⁴ and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says, "Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?" ' ¹⁵ And he will show you a large upstairs room furnished* and* ready, and prepare for us there."

¹ When* Jesus had said these things, he went out with his disciples to the other side of the ravine of the Kidron, where there was a garden into which he and his disciples entered. ² (Now Judas, the one who betrayed him, also knew about the place, because Jesus often gathered there with his disciples.) ³ So Judas, taking the cohort and officers from the chief priests and from the Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons. ⁴ Then Jesus, because he* knew all the things that were coming upon him, went out and said to them, "Who are you looking for?" ⁵ They replied to him, "Jesus the Nazarene." He said to them, "I am he."* (Now Judas, the one who betrayed him, was also standing with them.) ⁶ So when he said to them, "I am he,"* _⌊they drew back_⌋* and fell to the ground. ⁷ Then he asked them again, "Who are you looking for?" And they said, "Jesus the Nazarene." ⁸ Jesus replied, "I said to you that I am he!* So if you are looking for me, let these men go," ⁹ in order that the word that he had spoken would be fulfilled: "Those whom you have given to me—I have not lost anyone of them."* ¹⁰ Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear. (Now the name of the slave was Malchus.) ¹¹ So Jesus said to Peter, "Put the sword into its* sheath! The cup that the Father has given me—shall I not drink it?" ¹² Then the cohort and the military tribune and the officers of the Jews seized Jesus and tied him up, ¹³ and brought him* to Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. ¹⁴ (Now it was Caiaphas who had advised the Jews that it was better that one man die for the people.) ¹⁵ So Simon Peter and another disciple followed Jesus. (Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.) ¹⁶ But Peter was standing by the door outside. So the other disciple who was known to the high priest went out and spoke to the doorkeeper and brought Peter in. ¹⁷ Then the female slave who was the doorkeeper said to Peter, "You are not also one of the disciples of this man, are you?"* He said, "I am not!" ¹⁸ (Now the slaves and the officers were standing there, having made a charcoal fire because it was cold, and they were warming themselves. And Peter was also standing there with them and warming himself.) ¹⁹ So the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.

¹³ They open their mouth against me like a lion tearing and roaring. ¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted _⌊within me_⌋.*

¹⁰ Yet* Yahweh was pleased to crush him; he _⌊made him sick_⌋.* If she* places* his life a guilt offering,* he will see offspring. He will prolong days, and the will of Yahweh will succeed in his hand.

⁷ "O sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate," _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh of hosts. "Strike the shepherd, so that the sheep* may be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the small ones.

⁹ And I will bring the remaining third into the fire, and I will refine them like one refines silver, and I will test them like one tests gold. They* will call my name, and I will answer them.* I will say, 'They* are my people,' and they* will say, 'Yahweh is my God.'"

¹ Therefore I exhort you, brothers, through the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

¹⁶ with the result that I am a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving the gospel of God as a priest, in order that the offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

² and live in love, just as also Christ loved us, and gave himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant smell.*

¹⁷ But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and rejoice with all of you.

¹⁸ But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; _⌊I am well supplied_⌋* because* I received from Epaphroditus _⌊what you had sent_⌋*, a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

³ The remainder* of the grain offering _⌊belongs to_⌋* Aaron and to his sons—_⌊it is a most holy thing_⌋* from the offerings made by fire for* Yahweh.

¹⁹ For seven days yeast must not be found in your houses, because _⌊anyone eating food with yeast_⌋* will be cut off from the community of Israel—whether an alien or a native of the land. ²⁰ You will eat no food with yeast; in all of your dwellings you will eat unleavened bread."

¹⁸ " 'You will not sacrifice the blood of my sacrifice together with food with yeast, and you will not leave the fat of my feast overnight until morning.

²⁵ "You will not slaughter the blood of my sacrifice on food with yeast, and the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover will not stay overnight to the morning.

¹³ My child, eat honey, for it is good, and the dripping of the honeycomb is sweet to your taste.

¹⁶ If you find honey, eat what is sufficient for you, lest you have your fill of it and vomit it out.

²⁷ To eat much honey is not good, nor is seeking one's honor* honorable.

⁶ And Jesus said to them, "Watch out for and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!"

¹¹ How do you not understand that I did not speak to you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!" ¹² Then they understood that he did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

¹⁵ And he ordered them, saying, "Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod!"

⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch of dough?

² in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for the will of God.

¹⁰ Now Ephron was sitting among the Hittites.* And Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the hearing of the Hittites* with respect to all who were entering the gate of his city, and said, ¹¹ "No, my lord, hear me. I give you the field and the cave which is in it, I also give it to you in the sight of the children of my people I give it to you. Bury your dead."

¹⁷ So the field of Ephron which was in the Machpelah, which was near Mamre—the field and the cave which was in it, with all the trees that were in the field, which were within all its surrounding boundaries—_⌊passed_⌋*

²⁹ " 'You will not delay the fullness of your harvest and the juice from your press; you will give me the firstborn of your sons.

¹⁰ " 'And six years you will sow your land and gather its yield. ¹¹ But the seventh you will let it rest and leave it fallow, and the poor of your people will eat, and their remainder the animals* of the field will eat. You will do likewise for your vineyard and for your olive trees.

¹⁹ " 'The best of the firstfruits of your land you will bring to the house of Yahweh your God.
" 'You will not boil a young goat* in its mother's milk.

¹³ In addition to ring-shaped cakes of bread with yeast, he must present his grain* offering together with* his sacrifice of thanksgiving peace offerings.

¹⁰ "Speak to the _⌊Israelites_⌋,* and say to them, 'When you come to the land that I am about to give to you and you reap its harvest, then* you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruit of your harvest to the priest.

²⁰ You must lift up a contribution of the first batch of your ring-shaped dough bread; you must lift it up as a contribution of the threshing floor.

¹⁰ And now, look, I am bringing* the firstfruit of the fruit of the ground that you gave to me, Yahweh,' and you shall place it _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh your God, and you shall bow down _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh your God.

⁵ And the word spread. The Israelites gave abundantly from the firstfruits of grain, new wine, olive oil, honey, and all kinds of grains from the field. And they brought tithes of everything in abundance.

²⁰ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

⁴ These are those who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were bought from humanity as first fruits to God and to the Lamb,

¹⁹ All the contributions of holiness that the _⌊Israelites_⌋* offer to Yahweh I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you as an eternal decree; it is an eternal covenant of salt _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh to you and your offspring with you."

⁵ Do you not all know that Yahweh the God of Israel gave the kingdom to David over Israel forever, to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

²² up to one hundred talents of silver, one hundred measures of wheat, one hundred baths of wine, one hundred baths of oil, and _⌊unlimited salt_⌋.*

²⁴ And you must bring them near _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh, and the priests must throw salt on them, and they must offer them as a burnt offering to Yahweh.

¹³ "You are the salt of the earth. But if salt becomes tasteless, by what will it be made salty? It is good for nothing any longer except to be thrown outside and* trampled under foot by people.

⁴⁹ For everyone will be salted with fire. ⁵⁰ Salt is good, but if the salt becomes deprived of its salt content, by what can you make it salty? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with one another."

⁶ Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how it is necessary for you to answer each one.

³ And _⌊in the course of time_⌋* Cain brought an offering from the fruit of the ground to Yahweh,

²⁹ And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Yahweh, you must sacrifice it to be acceptable for you.

¹⁴ And you shall not eat bread or* roasted grain or* ripe grain until _⌊this very same day_⌋,* until you present your God's offering. This must be _⌊a lasting statute_⌋* for your generations in all your dwellings. ¹⁵ " 'And you shall count for yourselves _⌊from the day after_⌋* the Sabbath, from the day of your bringing the wave offering's sheaf—there shall be seven full weeks. ¹⁶ Until _⌊the day after_⌋* the seventh Sabbath you shall count fifty days; then* you shall present a new grain offering for Yahweh. ¹⁷ You shall bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread _⌊made with_⌋* two-tenths of an ephah* of finely milled flour; they must be baked with leaven—the firstfruits _⌊belonging to_⌋* Yahweh.

²⁰ And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering _⌊before_⌋* Yahweh; in addition to the two male lambs, they shall be holy for Yahweh for the priest.

² "Command the _⌊Israelites_⌋* and say to them, '_⌊You will be careful to present_⌋* my offering, my food of my offerings made by fire, of a fragrance of appeasement to me, at its appointed time.'

² then you shall take from the firstfruit of all the fruit of the ground that you harvest from your land that Yahweh your God is giving to you, and you shall put it in a basket, and you shall go to the place that Yahweh your God will choose to make his name to dwell there.

⁴² A man came from Baal-Shalishah and brought food to the man of God: firstfruits and twenty loaves of barley bread, with ripe grain in his sack. He said, "Give it to the people and let them eat."

⁹ Honor Yahweh from your substance,* and from the firstfruits of all that will come to you, ¹⁰ and your barns shall be full of plenty, and your vats shall burst with new wine.

² For* he went* up like a shoot before him, and like a root from dry ground. He had no form and no majesty that* we should see him, and no appearance that* we should take pleasure in him. ³ He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering, and acquainted with* sickness, and like _⌊one from whom others hide their faces_⌋,* he was despised, and we did not hold him in high regard. ⁴ However, he was the one who lifted up our sicknesses, and he carried our pain, yet* we ourselves assumed him stricken, struck down by God and afflicted. ⁵ But* he was pierced* because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement for* our peace* was upon him, and by his wounds* _⌊we were healed_⌋.* ⁶ All of us have wandered about like sheep; we each have turned to his own way; and Yahweh let fall on him the iniquity of us all. ⁷ He was oppressed and afflicted, yet* he did not open his mouth; he was brought like a lamb to the slaughter, and like a sheep is dumb before its shearers, so* he did not open his mouth. ⁸ He was taken by restraint of justice, and who concerned himself with his generation? For he was cut off from the land of the living; he received a blow because of the transgression of my people. ⁹ He made* his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. ¹⁰ Yet* Yahweh was pleased to crush him; he _⌊made him sick_⌋.* If she* places* his life a guilt offering,* he will see offspring. He will prolong days, and the will of Yahweh will succeed in his hand.

⁴ " 'But if you bring a grain offering of something oven-baked, it must be of finely milled flour as ring-shaped unleavened bread mixed with oil or wafers of unleavened bread smeared with oil. ⁵ If your offering is a grain offering baked on a* flat baking pan, it must be finely milled flour, unleavened bread mixed with oil; ⁶ break it into pieces and pour out oil on it; it is a grain offering. ⁷ " 'If* your offering is a grain offering prepared in a cooking pan, it must be with finely milled flour in oil.

¹² As an offering of the choicest portion, you* may bring them to Yahweh, but they must not be offered on the altar as an appeasing fragrance.

² Let my prayer be set before you as incense, the lifting up of my palms as the evening offering.

² And the spirit of Yahweh shall rest on him— a spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of counsel and might, a spirit of knowledge and the fear of Yahweh. ³ And his _⌊breath_⌋* is in the fear of Yahweh. And he shall judge not by his eyesight, and he shall rebuke not by _⌊what he hears with_⌋* his ears. ⁴ But he shall judge the poor with righteousness, and he shall decide for the needy of the earth with rectitude. And he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and he shall kill the wicked person with the breath of his lips.

²⁶ And likewise also, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as one ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with unexpressed groanings. ²⁷ And the one who searches our hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he intercedes on behalf of the saints according to the will of God.

⁷ who in the days of his flesh offered up both prayers and supplications, with loud crying and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard as a result of his reverence.
