² And when* the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him* were amazed, saying, "Where did this man get these things? And what is this wisdom that has been granted to this man, and the miracles such as these performed through his hands?

²³ And he went around through all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

²⁸ And it happened when Jesus finished these words the crowds were amazed at his teaching,

²¹ And they went into Capernaum and immediately on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue.* ²² And they were amazed at his teaching, because he was teaching them like one who had authority, and not like the scribes.

¹³ Now when they* saw the boldness of Peter and John, and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were astonished, and recognized them, that they had been with Jesus. ¹⁴ And because they* saw the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in return.
