⁵⁰ For they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke with them and said to them, "Have courage, I am he! Do not be afraid!"

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not flow over you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not scorch* you.

²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Have courage, I am he! Do not be afraid!"

³⁸ And he said to them, "Why are you frightened? And for what reason do doubts arise in your hearts? ³⁹ Look at my hands and my feet, that I am I myself! Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as _⌊you see that I have_⌋."* ⁴⁰ And when he* had said this, he showed them his* hands and his* feet. ⁴¹ And while* they were still disbelieving because of joy and were marveling, he said to them, "Do you have anything _⌊to eat_⌋* here?"

¹⁹ Then when they* had rowed about twenty-five or thirty stadia,* they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were afraid. ²⁰ But he said to them, "It is I! Do not be afraid!"

¹⁹ Now when it* was evening on that day—the first day of the week—and the doors had been shut where the disciples were because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, "Peace to you." ²⁰ And when he* had said this, he showed his* hands and his* side to them. Then the disciples rejoiced when they* saw the Lord.
