¹⁴ Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

⁴ Simon the Zealot,* and Judas Iscariot—the one who also betrayed him.

²⁵ And Judas, the one who was betraying him, answered and* said, "_⌊Surely I am not he, am I_⌋,* Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have said it."*

⁴⁷ And while* he was still speaking, behold, Judas—one of the twelve—arrived, and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

³ Then when* Judas, the one who had betrayed him, saw that he had been condemned, he regretted what he had done* and* returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and elders,

¹⁰ And Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. ¹¹ And when* they heard this,* they were delighted, and promised to give him money. And he began seeking* how he could betray him conveniently.

³ And Satan entered into Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. ⁴ And he went away and* discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard how he could betray him to them. ⁵ And they were delighted, and came to an agreement with him to give him* money. ⁶ And he agreed, and began looking* for a favorable opportunity to betray him to them apart from the crowd.

⁷⁰ Jesus replied to them, "Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is the devil?" ⁷¹ (Now he was speaking about Judas son of Simon Iscariot, because this one—one of the twelve—was going to betray him.)

⁴ But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) said,

² And as* a dinner was taking place, when* the devil had already put into the heart of Judas son of Simon Iscariot that he should betray him,

³⁰ So after he* had taken the piece of bread, he went out immediately. And it was night.
