¹⁹ He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry for help, and saves them.

⁴ May he give to you _⌊your heart's desire_⌋,* and your every plan may he fulfill. Selah

⁹ Fear Yahweh, you his saints,* for there is no lack for those who fear him.

¹⁷ They* cry out and Yahweh hears and delivers them from all of their troubles.

⁷ How precious is your loyal love, O God, and the children of humankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. ⁸ They are refreshed with the _⌊fullness_⌋* of your house,* and you give them drink from the river of your delights.

⁴ Take pleasure in Yahweh as well, and he will give to you the requests of your heart.

¹⁹ They will not be put to shame in distressing times,* and in the days of famine they will be satisfied.

³⁹ And* the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh, their refuge in the time of trouble. ⁴⁰ And Yahweh helps them and he rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

¹⁵ He will call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue and honor him.

²⁹ Yahweh is far from the wicked, but the prayers of the righteous he will hear.

⁶ Blessed are the ones who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they will be satisfied.

⁵³ He has filled those who are hungry with good things, and those who are rich he has sent away empty-handed.

⁷ If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.

¹⁶ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and your fruit should remain, in order that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

²⁴ Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

¹⁶ that he may grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, ¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith (you having been firmly rooted and established in love), ¹⁸ in order that you may be strong enough to grasp together with all the saints what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, in order that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. ²⁰ Now to the one who is able to do beyond all measure more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work in us,
