⁷ Let all who serve an image be ashamed, those who boast about idols.* Worship him, all you gods.

⁴ "You shall not make for yourself a divine image with any form that is in the heavens above or that is in the earth below or that is in the water below the earth.

²⁰ And the cherubim will be with outspread wings above, covering with their wings over the atonement cover _⌊and facing each other_⌋;* the faces of the cherubim will be toward the atonement cover.

¹ " 'You* shall not make for yourselves idols and divine images, and you shall not raise up stone pillars for yourselves, and you shall not put a sculptured stone in your land in order to* worship before it, because I am Yahweh your God.

⁸ 'You shall not make for yourself a divine image of any type of form that is in the heaven above or that is on the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth.

¹⁵ 'Cursed be the man that makes a divine image or a cast image, which is a detestable thing for Yahweh, the work of the hand of a skilled craftsman, and then sets it in a hiding place.'* And _⌊all the people shall respond_⌋,* 'Amen.'

¹³ The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits, and they were standing on their feet, their faces toward the house.

¹⁸ Truly, Yahweh, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the lands* and their land, ¹⁹ to _⌊set_⌋* their gods in the fire, for they were not gods, but the work of human hands, wood and stone, and they destroyed them.

²⁹ Look! All of them are deception; their works are nothing; their images are wind and emptiness.

¹⁷ They shall turn back; they shall be _⌊greatly ashamed_⌋,* those who trust in an image, who say to a cast image, "You are our gods."

⁹ All those who form an idol are nothing, and their delightful things do not profit. And their witnesses do not see or know, so they will be ashamed. ¹⁰ Who would form a god and cast an image of which he cannot profit? ¹¹ Look! all his companions shall be ashamed, and the artisans are human! Let all of them assemble; let them stand up. They shall tremble;* they shall be ashamed together.

¹⁴ _⌊Everyone_⌋* is stupid, _⌊without knowledge_⌋,* every goldsmith is ashamed by his divine image, for his cast image is an illusion, and there is no breath in them.

⁶ And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,
"And let all the angels of God worship him."*

¹² to whom it was revealed that they were serving not themselves but you with reference to the same things which now have been announced to you through those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, _⌊things into which_⌋* angels desire to look.

¹¹ And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and of the living creatures and of the elders, and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands times thousands, ¹² saying with a loud voice,
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" ¹³ And I heard every creature that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and everything in them saying,
"To the one who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power* _⌊forever and ever_⌋*." ¹⁴ And the four living creatures were saying, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.

⁸ And another second angel followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who caused all the nations to drink from the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality." ⁹ And another third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, ¹⁰ he himself also will drink of the wine of the anger of God that has been mixed full strength in the cup of his wrath, and will be tortured with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
