⁵ What then is Paul? And what Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, and to each as the Lord gave?

¹⁵ And to one indeed he gave five talents, and to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his ability. And he went abroad at once.

² as those from the beginning delivered to us, becoming eye-witnesses and ministers of the word,

²⁷ John answered and said, A man is able to receive nothing unless it has been given to him from Heaven.

¹⁴ How then may they call on One in whom they have not believed? And how may they believe One of whom they have not heard? And how may they hear without preaching? ¹⁵ And how may they preach if they are not sent? Even as it has been written, "How beautiful" "the feet of those announcing the gospel of peace, of those announcing the gospel of good things." Isa. 52:7

³ For through the grace which is given to me, I say to everyone being among you, not to have high thoughts beyond what is right to think. But set your mind to be right-minded, even as God divided a measure of faith to each. ⁴ For even as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function, ⁵ so we the many are one body in Christ, and each one members of one another, ⁶ but having different gifts according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, according to the proportion of faith;

⁷ So as neither he planting is anything, nor he watering, but God making to grow.

¹⁰ According to God's grace given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, but another builds on it . But let each one be careful how he builds.

¹ Let a man think of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² And the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful.

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

⁴ And there are differences of gifts, but the same Spirit; ⁵ and there are differences of ministries, yet the same Lord. ⁶ And there are differences of workings, but the same God is working all things in all. ⁷ And to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to our profit. ⁸ For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom, and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; ⁹ and to another, faith by the same Spirit, and to another, gifts of healing by the same Spirit, ¹⁰ and to another, workings of powers, and to another, prophecy, and to another, discerning of spirits, and to another, kinds of languages, and to another, interpretation of languages. ¹¹ But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each as He wills.

²⁸ And God placed some in the church: firstly apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages.

³ it having been made plain that you are Christ's letter, served by us, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.

⁶ who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

⁴ but in everything commending ourselves as God's servants, in much patience, in afflictions, in emergencies, in difficulties,

²³ Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself.) I being beyond them : in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times.

⁷ of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power.

²⁵ of which I became a minister, according to the administration of God given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God,

¹⁰ each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
