¹ And all the people of Judah took Uzziah; and he was a son of sixteen years; and made him king instead of his father Amaziah. ² He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after the king lay with his fathers. ³ Uzziah was a son of sixteen years when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty two years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. ⁴ And he did the right in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that his father Amaziah did. ⁵ And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and in the days he sought Jehovah, God made him prosper. ⁶ And he went out and fought with the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities around Ashdod, and among the Philistines. ⁷ And God helped him against the Philistines and against the Arabians who lived in Gurbaal, and the Meunim. ⁸ And the Ammonites paid tribute to Uzziah; and his name spread abroad to the entrance of Egypt; for he became exceedingly strong. ⁹ And Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate, and at the Valley Gate, and at the Turning, and fortified them. ¹⁰ And he built towers in the wilderness, and dug many wells, for he had many cattle, both in the low country and in the plain; also he had farmers and vinedressers in the mountains, and in Carmel; for he was a lover of the earth. ¹¹ And Uzziah had an army making war, going out to the battle by troops, according to the number of their account by the. hand of Jeiel the scribe, and Maaseiah the superintendent under the hand of Hananiah, of the king's leaders. ¹² The whole number of the heads of the fathers of the mighty men was two thousand, six hundred. ¹³ And under their hand was a powerful army, three hundred and seven thousand, five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy. ¹⁴ And Uzziah prepared for them, for all the army, shields and spears and helmets, and breastplates, and bows, even to stones for the slings. ¹⁵ And he made engines in Jerusalem, the inventions of skillful men, to be on the towers and on the corners, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. And his name spread far abroad; for he was wonderfully helped until he was strong. ¹⁶ And when he became strong, his heart was lifted up to act corruptly; and he trespassed against Jehovah his God, and went in to the temple of Jehovah to burn incense on the altar of incense. ¹⁷ And Azariah the priest went in after him, and eighty priests of Jehovah with him, sons of valor; ¹⁸ and they stood up against Uzziah the king, and said to him, It is not for you, O Uzziah, to burn incense to Jehovah, but to the priests, the sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to burn incense; go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed; and it is not to your honor from Jehovah God. ¹⁹ And Uzziah was angry, and in his hand was a censer to burn incense; and when he was angry with the priests, the leprosy rose in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense. ²⁰ And Azariah the head priest and all the priests turned toward him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead. And they hurried him from there, and he also himself hurried to leave, for Jehovah had touched him. ²¹ And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house as a leper, for he had been cut off from the house of Jehovah; and his son Jotham was over the king's house, judging the people of the land. ²² And the rest of the acts of Uzziah, the first and the last, Isaiah the son of Amoz, the prophet, has written. ²³ And Uzziah lay with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burying place that the kings had; for they said, He is a leper. And his son Jotham reigned in his place.

²¹ And all the people of Judah took Azariah (and he was a son of sixteen years), and they made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

¹ In the twenty seventh year of Jeroboam the king of Israel Azariah the son of Amaziah the king of Judah began to reign. ² He was a son of sixteen years when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty two years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. ³ And he did the right in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that his father Amaziah did; ⁴ however, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. ⁵ And Jehovah touched the king, and he was a leper to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, and Jotham the son of the king was over the house, judging the people of the land. ⁶ And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Matters of the Days of the Kings of Judah? ⁷ And Azariah lay with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David. And his son Jotham reigned in his place.

¹² Amaziah his son; Azariah his son; Jotham his son;

¹ And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made his youngest son Ahaziah king in his place (for all the first ones had been slain by the troop that came in with the Arabians to the battle) and Ahaziah the son of Jehoram the king of Judah reigned.

²⁵ and the people of the land killed all those who conspired against king Amon and the people of the land made his son Josiah to reign in his place.

⁸ and Asa fathered Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat fathered Jehoram, and Jehoram fathered Uzziah, ⁹ and Uzziah fathered Jotham, and Jotham fathered Ahaz, and Ahaz fathered Hezekiah,

²² He built Elath and restored it to Judah after the king slept with his fathers.

⁶ At that time Rezin the king of Syria brought Elath back to Syria, and threw the Jews out of Elath; and the Syrians came to Elath and lived there to this day.

¹⁷ And Solomon went to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth on the seacoast, in the land of Edom.

²³ And Amaziah the king of Judah, the son of Joash, was caught by Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz, the king of Israel in Beth-shemesh; and he carried him to Jerusalem, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate, four hundred cubits.

²⁸ And they lifted him up on the horses, and buried him with his fathers in the city of Judah.

² He was a son of sixteen years when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty two years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. ³ And he did the right in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that his father Amaziah did;

¹ The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

¹ In the year that king Uzziah died, then I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up. And His train filled the temple.

¹ The word of Jehovah that was to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, king of Israel.

¹ The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

⁵ And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with You.

² And he did the right in the eyes of Jehovah; only, not with a perfect heart.

¹⁵ And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one to interpret it; and I have heard about you, saying, you hear a dream to interpret it.

³⁸ And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find any man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?

⁷ And the people served Jehovah all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who prolonged their days after Joshua, who saw all the great work of Jehovah which He had done for Israel.

¹¹ Now, my son, may Jehovah be with you, and may you prosper and build the house of Jehovah your God, as He spoke concerning you.

¹³ then you shall prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the judgments that Jehovah commanded Moses as to Israel; be strong and courageous; do not fear, nor be cast down.

² And he went out before Asa, and said to him, Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. Jehovah is with you while you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

² And Joash did the right in the eyes of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

⁸ but if you will go, do it; be strong for battle; God shall make you fall before the enemy, for God has power to help, and to cause to stumble.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of waters, which will give its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf will not wither, and all which he does will prosper.

¹⁷ As for these four boys, God gave them knowledge and skill in all writing and wisdom. And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

¹⁹ Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision, and Daniel blessed the God of Heaven.

¹⁶ And I have heard of you, that you can interpret meanings, and unravel knots. Now if you can read the writing and reveal its meaning to me, you shall be clothed with purple and have a golden chain around your neck, and you will rule third in the kingdom.

¹ In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. And the thing was true, and a great conflict. And he understood the thing and had understanding of the vision.

⁴ O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your goodness is like a morning cloud, and it goes away like the early dew.

¹⁶ And likewise, these are the ones being sown on the stony places, who, when they hear the Word, they immediately receive it with joy, ¹⁷ yet they have no root in themselves, but are temporary. Then trouble or persecution having occurred through the Word, immediately they are offended.

³⁰ and out of you yourselves will rise up men speaking perverted things, in order to draw away the disciples after themselves.

¹ And the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.

⁶ And the hand of Jehovah was heavy on the men of Ashdod. And He wasted them, and struck them with hemorrhoids, Ashdod and its borders.

¹ And it happened afterward, David struck the Philistines, and humbled them. And David took the Bridle of the Metropolis out of the hand of the Philistines.

¹ And it happened, after this, that David struck the Philistines, and humbled them, and took Gath and its towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

¹⁶ And Jehovah awakened the spirit of the Philistines against Jehoram, and of the Arabians who were beside the Ethiopians;

²⁹ Do not rejoice, O Philistia, all of you, for the rod of your striking is broken, because a viper comes forth from the root of a snake, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

²⁰ And they were helped against them. And the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them. For they cried to God in the battle, and He was entreated for them, because they trusted in Him.

¹⁸ And the Spirit enwrapped Amasai, the head of the thirty: To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse, peace! Peace to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God has helped you. And David received them, and put them among the heads of the band.

¹¹ And Asa called to Jehovah his God, and said, O Jehovah, it is nothing to You to help between the mighty and him with no strength. Help us, O Jehovah our God; for we rest on You, and in Your name we come against this host. O Jehovah, You are our God. Do not let man hold out against You.

¹¹ And from the Philistines, they were bringing in a present to Jehoshaphat, and silver as tribute. Also, the Arabians were bringing flocks to him, seven thousand, seven hundred rams; and seven thousand, seven hundred he goats.

¹ And after this it happened that the sons of Moab and the sons of Ammon came in, and with them from the Ammonites, to battle against Jehoshaphat.

²⁹ For through You I can run through a troop; and through my God I have leaped over a wall.

³⁴ teaching my hands to war, so that a bow of bronze is bent by my arms. ³⁵ You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; and Your right hand holds me up; and Your condescension has made me great.

²² Then obtaining help from God, I stand until this day, witnessing both to small and to great, saying nothing else than what the prophets and Moses also said was going to happen:

² And I will make of you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing.

³⁸ And the younger also bore a son and called his name Ben-ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites to this day.

¹⁹ and you shall draw near, across from the sons of Ammon. You shall not besiege them nor be stirred up against them, for I have not given of the land of the sons of Ammon to you for a possession. For I have given it for a possession to the sons of Lot.

¹⁵ and said to him, So says Jephthah, Israel did not take the land of Moab, and the land of the sons of Ammon. ¹⁶ For when they came up out of Egypt, Israel went in the wilderness to the Sea of Reeds, and came in at Kadesh. ¹⁷ And Israel sent messengers to the king of Edom, saying, Please let me pass on through your land, and the king of Edom did not listen. And Israel sent also to the king of Moab, and he was not willing. And Israel remained in Kadesh. ¹⁸ And he went through the wilderness, and went around the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came in at the rising of the sun to the land of Moab. And they camped beyond Arnon, and did not come into the border of Moab, for Arnon was the border of Moab.

¹ And Nahash the Ammonite went up and camped against Jabesh-gilead. And all the men of Jabesh said to Nahash, Cut a covenant for us, and we will serve you.

² And he struck Moab, and measured them with a line; making them to lie down on the ground. And he measured two lines to put to death, and one full line to keep alive. And the Moabites were slaves to David, bearers of a gift.

¹³ And David made a name for himself when he returned, after he had struck the Syrians in the Valley of Salt, eighteen thousand men .

³¹ For he was wiser than all men; wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his name was in all nations all around.

²⁴ And the report of Him went out into all Syria. And they brought to Him all the ones having illness, suffering various diseases and torments, also those having been demon-possessed, and those having been moonstruck, and paralytics; and He healed them.

¹³ And Amaziah the king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Ahaziah, Jehoash the king of Israel caught in Beth-shemesh. And they came in to Jerusalem, and he broke through the wall of Jerusalem at the Gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate, four hundred cubits.

¹³ And I went out by night by the Valley Gate, even before the Jackal Fountain, and to the Dung Gate. And I examined the walls of Jerusalem which were broken down, and its gates which were burned with fire.

¹⁵ Then I went up in the night by the torrent, and examined the wall, and turned back, and entered by the Valley Gate, and returned.

¹³ Hanun, and the dwellers of Zanoah, repaired the Valley Gate. They built it and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits on the wall to the Dung Gate.

¹⁹ And next to his hand Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, repaired another piece before the going up to the armory at the corner. ²⁰ After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece from the corner to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

²⁴ After him Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another piece, from the house of Azariah to the corner, even to the tower.

³² And between the going up of the corner to the Sheep Gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants repaired.

³⁸ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that the city will be built to Jehovah, from the Tower of Hananeel to the Corner Gate.

¹⁰ All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. And it shall rise and dwell in its place, from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses.

¹⁸ And Isaac returned and dug the wells of water which they dug in the days of his father Abraham; and the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham. And he called names to them like the names which his father had called them. ¹⁹ And Isaac's slaves dug in the torrent-bed, and they found there a well of flowing water. ²⁰ And the shepherds of Gerar fought with the shepherds of Isaac, saying, The water is ours; and he called the name of the well, Contention, for they had contended with him. ²¹ And they dug another well, and they also fought over it; and he called its name, Opposition.

⁴ And Mesha the king of Moab was a sheepmaster. And he paid a hundred thousand lambs to the king of Israel and a hundred thousand rams with wool.

²³ By the hand of your messengers, you have defamed the Lord, and have said, With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and I will cut down the height of its cedars, the best of its firs, and I will enter into the furthest dwelling, its densest forest;

²⁶ Ezri the son of Chelub was over those who did the work of the field for working the ground. ²⁷ Shimei of Ramah was over the vineyards. Zabdi the Shiphmite was over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars. ²⁸ And Baa-lhanan of Geder was over the olive trees and sycamore trees in the lowlands. And Joash was over the oil cellars. ²⁹ And Shitrai of Sharon was over the herds that fed in Sharon. And Shaphat the son of Adlai was over the herds in the valleys. ³⁰ And Obil the Ishmaelite was over the camels And Jehdeiah the Meronothite was over the asses. ³¹ And Jaziz the Hagerite was over the flocks All these were the rulers of the possessions which king David had.

¹⁷ Is it not yet a little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field; and the fruitful field shall be counted for the forest?

² And the Syrians had gone out in bands, and they seized from the land of Israel a little girl. And she was before Naaman's wife.

¹ And Rehoboam came to Jerusalem and called up the house of Judah and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen warriors, to fight with Israel, to bring back the kingdom to Rehoboam.

³ And Abijah joined the battle with an army of mighty men of war, four hundred thousand chosen men. And Jeroboam had set the battle in order with him, with eight hundred thousand chosen men, mighty men of valor.

⁸ And Asa had an army bearing bucklers and spears three hundred thousand out of Judah, and two hundred eighty thousand out of Benjamin, bearing shields and drawing bows; all these were mighty men of valor.

¹⁴ And these were their numbers, for the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the commanders of thousands, Adnah the chief, and with him three hundred thousand mighty men of valor. ¹⁵ And on his hand, Jehohanan the chief, and two hundred and eighty thousand with him. ¹⁶ And on his hand, Amasiah the son of Zichri, who volunteered himself to Jehovah; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor. ¹⁷ And of Benjamin, Eliada a mighty man, and two hundred thousand armed men with bow and shield with him. ¹⁸ And on his hand, Jehozabad; and with him a hundred and eighty thousand ready for war. ¹⁹ These waited on the king, besides those whom the king put in the fortified cities in all Judah.

⁵ And Amaziah gathered Judah, and made them stand, according to the house of the fathers, for commanders of the thousands, and for commanders of the hundreds, for all Judah and Benjamin. And he numbered them from a son of twenty years and above, and found them to be three hundred thousand choice ones, going forth to battle, holding spear and shield.

¹⁶ Among all this people were seven hundred chosen men who were impeded in the right hand, each of these able to sling a stone at a hair. And he did not miss!

⁴⁹ And David put his hand into the pouch and took a stone from there. And he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.

⁴ to devise designs, to work in gold and in silver and in bronze,

⁷ And now, send to me a skilled man to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and violet, and knowing how to engrave all kinds of engravings with the skilled men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom my father David has prepared.

¹⁴ the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre, who knows how to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in wood, in purple, and violet, and in fine linen, and in crimson, and to engrave any engraving, and to invent any device that is given to him, with your skilled men, and the skilled men of my lord David, your father.

¹ And Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, took both Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, the sons of Reuben;

⁷ and put fire in them, and put incense on them before Jehovah tomorrow; and it shall be, the man whom Jehovah chooses, he shall be the holy one. You take too much, sons of Levi!

¹⁸ And they each took his fire-pan, and put fire on them, and lay incense on them, and they stood at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, with Moses and Aaron.

³⁵ And fire came forth from Jehovah and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.

¹⁴ then it rises up into your heart, and you forget Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves;

¹⁷ that you not say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.

¹³ He made him ride on the high places of the earth, so that he might eat the increase of the fields. And He made him suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; ¹⁴ butter from cows, and milk from the flock, with fat from lambs, and rams of the sons of Bashan, and he goats, with the fat of the kidneys of wheat, and of the blood of the grape you shall drink wine. ¹⁵ But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, thick and sated. And he abandoned God who made him, and fell away from the Rock of his salvation.

³³ And he offered up on the altar that he made in Bethel, on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, in the month that he devised out of his own heart; and he made a feast for the sons of Israel, and offered on the altar, to burn incense.

¹⁰ You have certainly stricken Edom, and your heart has lifted you up. Glory in it and stay in your house; and why should you stir yourself up to evil so that you may fall, you and Judah with you?

¹² And the king came in from Damascus, and the king saw the altar; and the king drew near to the altar and offered on it; ¹³ and offered his burnt offering, and his food offering, and poured out his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.

¹⁹ You have said, behold, I have stricken Edom, and your heart has lifted you up to boast; now, stay in your house; why should you stir yourself up to evil, that you should fall, you and Judah with you?

²⁵ And Hezekiah did not return according to the benefit done to him, for his heart had been lifted up, and there was wrath on him and on Judah and Jerusalem.

¹⁸ Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

⁴ Behold, the soul of him is puffed up and is not upright; but the just shall live by his faith.

¹⁸ Let no one condemn you, delighting in humility and worship of the angels, pushing into things which he has not seen, being puffed up by the mind of his flesh without a cause,

¹⁰ and Johanan fathered Azariah, he who acted in the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

²⁸ and Zadok, a young man mighty in valor; and of the house of his father were twenty two leaders.

⁶ Also sons were born to Shemaiah, who ruled for the house of their father; for they were mighty warriors.

⁷ And Aaron shall burn incense of perfume on it morning by morning; when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it. ⁸ And when Aaron sets up the lamps between the evenings he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the face of Jehovah for your generations.

³⁹ And Eleazar the priest took the bronze fire-pans, which they who were burned had brought near, and they spread them out, a covering for the altar, ⁴⁰ a memorial to the sons of Israel, so that an alien who is not of the seed of Aaron shall not draw near to offer incense before Jehovah, and shall not be as Korah, and as his company; as Jehovah had spoken by the hand of Moses to him.

⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, Take the fire-pan, and put fire on it from the altar, and lay on incense, and go, hurry to the congregation, and atone for them, for the wrath has gone out from the presence of Jehovah; the plague has begun. ⁴⁷ And Aaron did as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly. And, behold, the plague had begun among the people! And he laid on the incense and atoned for the people, ⁴⁸ and stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stayed.

⁷ And you, and your sons with you, shall keep your priesthood, in everything that pertains to the altar, and to that inside the veil. And you shall serve; I have given you the priesthood as a service of gift; and the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.

³⁰ So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father's house should walk before Me until forever. But now Jehovah says, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me, I will honor; and those despising Me will be despicable.

⁷ And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa the king of Judah and said to him, Because you leaned on the king of Syria, and you have not leaned on Jehovah your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand. ⁸ Did not the Cushites and the Lubim become a very great army for multitude, for chariots and for horsemen? And when you leaned on Jehovah, He gave them into your hand. ⁹ For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro in all the earth in order to be strong for those with their heart perfect toward Him. You have acted foolishly in this. For this reason, from now on there shall be wars with you.

² And Jehu the son of Hanani, the seer, went out before him and said to king Jehoshaphat, Do you love to help the bad one, and those who hate Jehovah, and by this bring wrath on you from the face of Jehovah?

¹⁸ Say to the king and to the queen mother, Humble yourselves, sit down. For the crown of your glory will come down from your head places.

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honor the King of Heaven, for all His works are truth, and His ways are justice. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

¹⁸ And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

²⁸ And you should not fear the ones killing the body, but not being able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him being able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.

⁴ For John said to him, It is not lawful for you to have her.

⁴⁴ How are you able to believe, you who receive glory from one another, and the glory which is from the only God you do not seek?

⁵ to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

¹⁶ So as we now know no one according to flesh, but even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we no longer know Him so .

²² Jehovah shall strike you with lung disease and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting and mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish.

³⁵ Jehovah shall strike you with an evil ulcer on the knees, and on the legs, of which you cannot be healed from the sole of your foot even to your crown.

¹² And Mordecai came again to the king's gate, but Haman hurried to his house mourning, and his head covered.

⁴⁶ And the days that the plague shall be in him, he is unclean; he shall live alone, he is unclean; his dwelling shall be at the outside of the camp.
