¹² Its leaves were beautiful, and its fruit plentiful, and food for all was in it. The animals of the field sought shade under it, and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.

⁶ And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant. And I have also given him the beast of the field to serve him. ⁷ And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land comes, and his time . And many nations and great kings shall enslave him.

²⁰ The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of Jehovah, was captured in their pits; of whom we said, In his shadow we will live among the nations.

²³ I will plant it in a high mountain of Israel. And it will bear boughs and produce fruit and will become a majestic cedar. And every bird of every wing shall dwell under it; they shall dwell in the shadow of its branches.

⁶ All the birds of the heavens nested in his boughs, and under his branches all the beasts of the field gave birth, and in his shadow dwelt all great nations. ⁷ And he was fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches. for his root was to many waters.

³² which indeed is less than all the seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and roost in its branches.

³² But concerning that day and the hour, no one knows, not the angels, those in Heaven, nor the Son, except the Father.

¹⁹ It is like a grain of mustard which a man having taken threw into his garden. And it grew and became a great tree, and the birds of the heaven perched in its branches.
