¹³ And Jehovah your God shall give it into your hand; and you shall strike every male of it by the mouth of the sword.

⁷ And they warred against Midian, as Jehovah had commanded Moses, and killed every male. ⁸ And they killed the kings of Midian, besides the rest of their slain: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword. ⁹ And the sons of Israel took the women of Midian captive, and their infants, and all their livestock, and all their purchased things. And they plundered all their wealth.

Today I have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, and I will give the nations as Your inheritance; and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. ⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ¹⁰ Now, then, be wise, O kings; be taught, O judges of the earth: ¹¹ Serve Jehovah with fear; yea, rejoice with trembling. ¹² Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find out Your haters. ⁹ You shall set them as a fiery furnace in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire will devour them.
