⁵ So says Jehovah God, creating the heavens and stretching them out; spreading out the earth and its offspring, giving breath to the people on it, and spirit to those walking in it.

¹⁰ And God called the dry land, Earth. And He called the collection of the waters, Seas. And God saw that it was good. ¹¹ And God said, Let the earth sprout tender sprouts, the plant seeding seed, the fruit tree producing fruit according to its kind, whichever seed is in it on the earth. And it was so. ¹² And the earth bore tender sprouts, the plant seeding seed according to its kind, and the fruit tree producing fruit according to its kind, whichever seed is in it. And God saw that it was good.

²⁴ And God said, Let the earth bring forth the soul of life according to its kind: cattle, and creepers, and its beasts of the earth, according to its kind. And it was so. ²⁵ And God made the beasts of the earth according to its kind, and cattle according to its kind, and all creepers of the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

⁷ And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

¹⁰ In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all flesh, even of man?

³ As long as my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,

⁴ The Spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

¹⁴ If He sets His heart on him, if He gathers his spirit and his breath to Himself,

¹ A Psalm of David. The earth is Jehovah's, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who live in it. ² For He has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.

⁶ Through Jehovah's word the heavens were made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.

²⁵ You have laid the foundation of the earth of old; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; You shall change them like clothing, and they shall be changed.

² covering Yourself with light like a cloak, and stretching out the heavens like a curtain; ³ who lays beams in the waters of His upper rooms; setting thick clouds as His chariots; walking on the wings of the wind. ⁴ He makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire. ⁵ He founded the earth on its foundations; it shall not be shaken forever and ever. ⁶ You have covered the deep as with a robe; the waters stood above the mountains. ⁷ From Your rebuke, they flee; from the sound of Your thunder, they hurry away. ⁸ They go up the mountains; they go down the valleys to the place which You founded for them. ⁹ You have set a boundary they may not pass over; they shall not return to cover the earth. ¹⁰ He sends springs into the valleys; they flow between the hills; ¹¹ they give drink to every animal of the field; wild asses break their thirst; ¹² over them the birds of the heavens dwell; they give voice from between the branches. ¹³ He waters the hills from His upper rooms; the earth is satisfied from the fruit of Your works. ¹⁴ He causes the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for the service of man, to bring food out of the earth. ¹⁵ And wine cheers the heart of man; oil makes his face shine, and bread sustains the heart of man. ¹⁶ The trees of Jehovah are satisfied the cedars of Lebanon that He planted; ¹⁷ there where the birds nest; the fir trees are the house of the stork; ¹⁸ high hills are for the wild goats; rocks are a refuge for the badgers. ¹⁹ He made the moon for seasons; the sun knows its going down. ²⁰ You put darkness, and it is night; in it all the forest animals creep. ²¹ The young lions roar for prey, and to seek their food from God. ²² The sun rises; they are gathered, and go to their dens to lie down. ²³ Man goes out to his work, and to his labor until the evening. ²⁴ O Jehovah, how many are Your works! You have made all of them in wisdom; the earth is full of Your riches. ²⁵ This is the sea, great and wide on both hands; there are creeping things even without number; living things, small and great. ²⁶ There the ships go; You formed this great sea-animal to play in it. ²⁷ All of them wait for You to give them their food in due season. ²⁸ You give to them; they gather; You open Your hand, and they are filled with good. ²⁹ You hide Your face, and they are troubled; You gather their breath, and they expire and return to their dust. ³⁰ You send out Your Spirit, and they are created; and You renew the face of the earth. ³¹ The glory of Jehovah shall be forever; Jehovah shall rejoice in His works. ³² He looks to the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke. ³³ I will sing to Jehovah during my life; I will sing praise to my God while I exist. ³⁴ My thoughts on Him shall be sweet; I will be glad in Jehovah. ³⁵ Let sinners perish from the earth and let the wicked be no more; bless Jehovah, O my soul; praise Jehovah!

⁶ to Him who spread the earth on the waters; for His mercy endures forever;

¹² He who has measured in His palm the waters and the heavens by a span meted out; and enclosed in the measure the dust of the earth, and weighed in the balance the mountains, and the hills in the scales,

²² He who sits on the circle of the earth, even its dwellers are like grasshoppers; He who stretches the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;

²⁸ Have you not known? Have you not heard? Jehovah, the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth; He is not faint, nor does He grow weary; there is no searching to His understanding.

²⁴ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer and your Former from the womb; I am Jehovah who makes all things; stretching out the heavens; I alone, spreading out the earth. Who was with Me,

¹² I have made the earth, and created man on it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands; and I have set all their host in order.

¹⁸ For so says Jehovah, Creator of the heavens; He is God, forming the earth and making it; He makes it stand, not creating it empty, but forming it to be inhabited. I am Jehovah, and there is none else.

¹³ My hand surely founded earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens; I called to them, they stood up together.

¹² It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom, and who stretched out the heavens by His understanding.

¹⁷ Ah, Lord Jehovah! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and Your outstretched arm; not any thing is too difficult for You,

²³ But you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of Heaven. And they have brought the vessels of His house before you. And you, and your nobles, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver, and gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see, nor hear, and do not know. And you have not glorified the God in whose hand your life breath and all your ways is .

⁶ It is He who builds His staircase in the heavens, and He has founded His binding heavens on the earth; He who calls for the seawater and pours them out on the face of the earth, Jehovah is His name.

¹ The burden of the word of Jehovah for Israel, says Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man in his midst.

²⁵ nor is served by hands of men, as having need of anything. For He is giving life and breath and all things to all.

² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages;

¹⁰ And, "You, Lord, at the beginning founded the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands. ¹¹ They will vanish away, but You will continue; and they will all become old, like a garment, ¹² and You shall fold them up like a covering, and they shall be changed.
